This is a great book, but it's more of a broad "this is how you should live your life" philosophy book. In his book, Get the Guy, Matthew Hussey - relationship expert, matchmaker, and star of the reality show Ready for Love - reveals the secrets of the male mind and the fundamentals of dating and mating for a proven, revolutionary approach to help women to find lasting love. Matthew Hussey has coached thousands of high-powered CEOs, showing them how to develop confidence and build relationships that translate into professional success. I deducted one star because I was hoping for a bit more in terms of how-to and instructions, but I'm not sure how Hussey could have pulled that off since every guy and girl and dating situation is different.
Many of Matthew's male clients pressed him for advice on how to apply his winning strategies not to just get the job, but how to get the girl. Overall, this is a great, empowering read that I'd recommend to pretty much every single gal out there.
I am relatively happy, and I am not about to play mind games with men for they are mean spirited and short live.On that note, this book is none of that.

As his reputation grew, Hussey was approached by more and more women, eager to hear what he had learned about the male perspective on love and romance. A lot of it is more ideas on what you can do to help move your life forward, and even better, how you can attract someone who will want to be with the real you and not a mask you put on to attract men. From landing a first date to establishing emotional intimacy, playful flirtation to red-hot bedroom tips, Matthew's insightfulness, irreverence, and warmth makes Get the Guy: Learn Secrets of the Male Mind to Find the Man You Want and the Love You Deserve a one-of-a-kind relationship guide and the handbook for every woman who wants to get the guy she's been waiting for. A lot of it also just just as meaning full to life as it is, that we sometimes forget to stop whining about how no men will talk to us yet we never get off our phones to give them a chance.
I liked this book, not because it was a "how to become a woman a man wants" but how to find the man that wants a woman like you.
And a lot of it also discusses things that need to be discussed in a book of this nature, like how if your sitting at home whining on Facebook about not having a boyfriend you aren't going to find Mr. It also lays out some hard facts, the first line of the book is "Love is hard" it doesn't lie to you, it doesn't say that tomorrow you will have a boyfriend if you finish this book.

It gives your the toolkit to help build the foundation to not only find a good man but to find someone who you want and how you should go about doing it in the best way possible for you.
You want a man, go find them!) Some of it is stuff I have heard said in books I picked up at the library, but a lot of it was simple wholesome advise that needs to be heard. But this book is straight forward about what you should do, and you can't expect that just reading it will help. It isn't always easy, I am shy and scared of the world at large most of the time but I am learning and I am trying.
I am becoming more confident as me as a person, and strangely enough this book is helping me go out and do things I've always wanted to do instead of waiting for them to happen to me.I will re-read this book time and time again.
