Sleeping issues in toddlers, adrenal fatigue treatment - For You

Author: admin
One of the joys (and headaches) of raising a toddler is the near-constant element of surprise. If you are struggling with your baby or toddler’s sleep, please know that you are not alone! The best time to put your baby or toddler to bed is sometime between 6 and 8 o’clock in the evening.
In a long-term study, toddlers who slept less than 10 hours a night or woke frequently at night tended to have more emotional and behavioral problems at age five.

At 18 months, almost 60 percent of toddlers were sleeping for 13 to 14 hours per night and about two percent were sleeping for less than ten hours per night. Toddlers who slept less than 13 hours per night often also had emotional or behavioral problems at the same age, the authors write in JAMA Pediatrics.
Early sleep issues may be part of the reason for later emotional or behavioral problems, Sivertsen said, but many other factors, like child temperament and parental mental health, may be important as well. When they know what to expect at bedtime, it makes it much easier for them to make the transition from waking to sleeping.

The good news is that there are some quick and easy things you can do ~ starting tonight ~ to help your little one start sleeping through the night and taking long restful naps during the day! Then consider these strategies (some you may not even realize you’re already using!) and when-to-call-the-doctor advice for helping cure the most common toddler sleep problems.
