Perimenopause and chronic fatigue, major depression and mood disorders - How to DIY

Chronic joint and muscle pain, along with fatigue are very common complaints from women in perimenopause.
Low Vitamin D is associated with chronic pain illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia. But, don’t run out and buy Vitamin D supplement without first consulting with your physician and having your blood levels checked! Dark leafy greens such as spinach are high in magnesium and an excellent source of food to combat low magnesium levels. Rich dark chocolate (with at least 70 to 85% cocoa) not only provides 58% of your daily recommended need for magnesium, but it’s also an excellent source for iron (67% of your daily recommended amount), and 98% recommended daily allowance of manganese which also helps combat pain as well.
Other food sources which can help with aches and pains in perimenopause are buckwheat, containing malic acid which fights tired sore muscles. I realize making dietary changes is not always an easy proposition when your tired, exhausted, and full of aches and pains from perimenopause and menopause. Fatigue is one of the most frequently experienced symptoms of menopause, with up to 80% of women reporting this experience at one time or another.
