The Buddha Mudra promotes the energy of meditation, deep contemplation and unity with higher energy. Tradition leads us to believe that this mudra was the one that Buddha practiced in his meditation under the Bodhi tree before his Enlightenment. This gesture has been used throughout time by yogis during their meditation and concentration exercises.

We kicked off this year by cutting a cheque to the charity Karma Teachers Centre for Yoga and Mediation, a safe studio space in Canada's poorest neighbourhood where residents are offered free yoga and meditation. It is considered a natural remedy for stress and anxiety and is useful for entering into a meditative state.
It has been practiced in meditation for thousands of years, and continues to bring peace, calm and spiritual progress.

It is extremely calming and brings the practitioner spiritual openness and ease in meditation.
