If you appear happy at your job, for example, you will make a better impression on your boss and your colleagues.
If your glance is constantly wandering off from the person you are speaking to, they may think that you are either disinterested, lacking confidence or easily distracted. When you meet these goals and fulfill your challenges, you will feel much prouder for it and, with this pride, comes a far greater degree of confidence.
