Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India’s most ancient techniques of meditation.
Courses are given in numerous Meditation Centers and at non-center course locations at rented sites. Meditation is all the more relevant for today' world that is entangled in conflicts and wars and that is overflowing in mutual distrust. Non-residential courses at Vipassana centres or rented sites are nearly always one day in length.

Trained Children's Course Teachers supervise the meditation periods and check on the understanding of each student. They are all organised by non-profit Vipassana organisations at various locations around the world. The technique of Vipassana Meditation is taught at ten-day residential courses during which participants learn the basics of the method, and practice sufficiently to experience its beneficial results.
They are also expected to refrain from all kinds of religious practices or other disciplines for that period.
