This Purelight UV Wand offers many of the same claims as other UV light devices: kills viruses, bacteria, mold, dust mites and bed bugs, all the while neutralizing odors.
Not sure we'd want to do that every morning, but if we were serious allergy sufferers and it helped, we might think otherwise. Awhile back ago we tested a UV emitting vacuum which used UV light to supposedly kill bacteria, virus, mold and dust mites while sucking up their carcasses, but we couldn't honestly say the vacuum or its UV light made a huge difference.

But like those other devices, we'd expect the effects to be unnoticeable or slight upon use, at least from our limited experience with UV sanitizing with commercially available products.
Perhaps other allergy sufferers or users of this device or ones similar to it have a different experience to share?
