Ian Lariba, who earned a spot in the Rio Olympics with a head-turning showing in a qualifying tournament in Hong Kong recently, believes winning a table tennis medal in Brazil is not a remote possibility.
Table tennis has long been dominated by Chinese players but Lariba believes she can pull off a surprise.
The UAAP Most Valuable Player in 2012, 2014 and 2015, Lariba insists that while hard work and sacrifice were keys in her successful campaign in Hong Kong, she credits her Korean coach as a big factor as well.
Kwon used to be a world champion back in 1989 and she wound up coaching Korean electronics giant Samsung for 16 years before deciding to go to the Philippines and lend her expertise here.
As Lariba gets ready for Rio, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) is throwing its full support behind her bold quest. Getting focused means having to negotiate with her academic schedule as she still have one more term left to finish her degree. But Lariba said La Salle is supportive of her goal saying competing in the Olympics is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Joey Romasanta, the POC first vice-president and Rio Games chief of mission, has laid the groundwork for her participation in training camps and foreign exposure. And when she finally sets foot in Rio and rub elbows with fellow Olympians, Lariba it would make her realize one more how far and hard the journey was. When she gets there, looking at the iconic Christ The Redeemer, high up in the Corcovado, Lariba would probably give a blank stare, unsure if she’s really there even though she’s in complete Olympic regalia. But at the back of her mind, Lariba had probably thought about all these: parading at the Maracana Stadium, staring at the Sugarloaf and humming the all-too-familiar refrain of The Girl from Ipanema.
Besides, Lariba had worked away from the bright lights and that making it to Rio was all part of the painstakingly slow but rewarding process. The interviewer seems to oppose the Second Amendment from the nature and tone of her questions, perhaps too young to remember the oppression of the Soviet Union.

He continues, “And so, I don’t have anything against guns in and of themselves don’t kill people. The interviewer credits guns with creating “an American form of violence, mass violence” a claim about which Seagal chooses not to engage her in a debate. He comments to the upside down nature of society, saying, “The most precious gift we have from God is our children. He believes that scapegoating movies as being behind violence is an inaccurate easy way out.
Hello Friends and Readers – As a defender of the US Constitution against the globalist Fascists who are attempting to destroy the United States, censorship is an unfortunate reality. Enter your email address to subscribe to RickWells.US and receive notifications of new posts by email.
Since most people won't reveal their bank account, credit card number or password to just anyone, phishers have to take extra steps to trick their victims into giving up this information. Phishers often use real company logos and copy legitimate e-mail messages, replacing the links with ones that direct the victim to a fraudulent page. Most phishing messages give the victim a reason to take immediate action, prompting him to act first and think later. In addition, a lot of people trust automatic processes, believing them to be free from human error. Upsets are common,” said the 21-year-old Lariba, the first Filipino to earn a berth in the Olympics. Actor and Martial Arts expert, a 7th degree black belt in Aikido, Steven Seagal was in Russia promoting and working on his own signature firearm when he gave the interview to RT. Seagal if he had an obsession, though she chose her words more delicately, with firearms, citing his new firearm project as well as his films and work with law enforcement as the basis for the question.

He responds saying, “Well first of all, I believe in the Second Amendment and the Constitution more than anything in the world.
Why can’t we spend money and time to protect our schools and our children?” He observes there are armed guards at every bank and jewelry store but none protecting our schools.
Much of the media, including social media, is under the control of the anti-American globalist camp.
That's why many messages claim that a computerized audit or other automated process has revealed that something is amiss with the victim's account. A gun is just like a plant or a tool, you know, you can do good with it, which is to protect and nurture humanity and mankind, or destroy. And I think that, Adolph Hitler for example, when he wanted to annihilate the people of Germany, the first thing he did was take away their guns. Please like me on my New Facebook page that I’ve created in response to strangulation censorship. The victim is more likely to believe that someone has been trying to break into his account than believe that the computer doing the audit made a mistake. Since the victim doesn't want to lose money he didn't really spend, he follows the message's link and winds up giving the phishers exactly the sort of information he was afraid they had in the first place.
