    Season of Sequels!

It appears that we are in for a season of sequels coming up, not only has it been agreed that there will be a sequel to The Fugitive as was reported last week, but it appears that we are also in for sequels for The Silence of the Lambs and Blues Brothers. Even though Aykroyd, Belushi and Hopkins all said the movies would never happen, they are now.

Silence of the Sheep?

Anthony Hopkins has constantly been denying claims of a sequel in the pipelines for Silence of the Lambs, citing emotional trauma from the filming of the first film and not wanting to go through with it again, and the film company not wanting to make the movie without him, but obviously he has finally decided to go for the deal as filming will start around December.

Brotherly bother!

Dan Aykroyd will go ahead with the forthcoming sequel to the Blues Brothers without his pal Jim Belushi (brother of original Blues Bro. John). Belushi explains: "There was a scheduling conflict for me. I'm doing a TV show on ABC. Universal couldn't find it in their power to make the schedule work for me. I look at it as just one of the gigs I'm going to be missing." The film will begin shooting this month with John Goodman replacing Belushi.
