Child star Jake Lloyd has won the most coveted role in Hollywood - as the young Darth Vader in the new Star Wars prequels. Lloyd, whose previous roles were in Unhook the stars and Jingle all the way, will play Anakin Skywalker - who went on to become Darth Vader - in the first prequel, currently shooting in England. The eight-year-old is the first actor to be officially signed up for the prequel movies, but Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson are also tipped.

Bad 'Tache Day

Jim Carrey recently tried to disguise himself by donning a false moustache but didn't pull it off: "I realised the guy wasn't doing anything and he was staring at me", says Jim. "He yelled 'Hey everybody, it's Jim Carrey with a moustache.' And people were screaming, 'Nice moustache, Jim.' So that was it from the on. No more disguises."

US Marshals

US Marshals the follow up to The Fugitive is set to star Robert Downy Jr. However there will be no role for Harrison Ford in this outing although Tommy Lee Jones will return and will be joined by Wesley Snipes.
