As we said last week, these fundamentals of teamwork have been gleaned by me from an intensive leadership course. They worked for those there and they sure as hell will work for you!
2. Control
This isn't necessarily about having people responding to the orders you bark at them. Its about keeping the whole team within parameters. Control is about carefully, but firmly, easing people on target. Its trying to prevent team members from straying too far. If they get lost it may be hard to get the whole team going in the same direction.
Keep the whole group fluid with encouragement in the right direction.
