Default Win'95 Drivers:

When you get your Computer (IBM PC) or install Windows'95, it will try and detect your video card, sound card and all your other peripherals. It installs Microsoft drivers which are pretty simple and in one word, 'Tacky'.

It is much better to use manufacturers' own drivers, because they take advantage of all the features of the card. You can get the manufactures driver's from most of their web Sites. Matrox's site is www.matrox.com for instance. It has all their latest display drivers and BIOS updates.

.UUE Files, What the hell?

Some of j-dom tip's readers, might be wondering what there supposed to do with a .UUE file. Well if you save it in your mail program then WinZip can open them and you can then decode them, just by the same method that you unzip files using WinZip.
