The Food Network’s South Beach Wine and Food Festival brings stars, culinary presentations, food and wine samplings and incredible parties to Miami. The end of February is the time for the most devoted foodies and celebrated chefs to gather in Miami for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by the Food Network.
Moet Hennessy’s The Q is one of the most entertaining events of the food and wine festival. The Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel hosts the expansive wine and food sampling event on Feb. The Festival is honored to welcome back Jamie Oliver to its family-oriented program Kohl’s Fun and Fit as a Family featuring Kellogg’s Kidz Kitchen, which takes place at Jungle Island the Saturday and Sunday during the Festival.
The iconic Amstel Light Burger Bash presented by Allen Brothers hosted by Rachael Ray will celebrate its fifth birthday during the Festival – bringing back the best in beer and burgers, plus the four previously crowned People’s Choice Award winners (Shake Shack, Michael Schlow, Spike Mendelsohn, and Michael Symon) to compete with their fellow chefs for bragging rights in 2011.
SOBEWFF features incredible dining, sampling, parties and presentations and the adult beverages keep flowing from top champagne companies to esoteric wineries. Over 40 top chefs come up with delicious dishes to be paired with the wine and spirits brands of Moet Hennessy for creative, spectacular fare.
A self-proclaimed Miami Beach fashion expert, she is also working on launching her first jewelry line, Boki Love. Celebrity chefs teach healthy lifestyle cooking tips and recipes to families via simple and convenient demonstrations – chefs such as Robert Irvine, Timon Balloo, Giada De Laurentiis and Jungle Island’s Chef Steve Black.
