Margaret River Gourmet Escape, presented by Siemens home appliances, has pulled out all stops to create a massive weekend for lovers of food, wine, music and fun, announcing some huge new events and new talent for the three-day festival from 21 to 23 November 2014.
Tickets for the new events will be available from 11am AWST on Tuesday 9 September and are likely to sell out, so early purchase is advised.
The Margaret River Gourmet Escape program is packed with events that will take over the region. Gourmet Village program details have now been finalised and include the new Signature Sessions – intimate cooking demonstrations with renowned chefs including Rick Stein, Peter Gilmore and George Calombaris and the Devil’s Lair Table of Eight where guests get the best seats in the house and sit on stage while world-acclaimed chefs including Heston Blumenthal, Massimo Bottura and Davide Scabin are live in the Siemens Chef’s Theatre. There are plenty of opportunities to meet the chefs including Heston and Massimo who will sign their latest cookbooks through a pre-purchase offer. Each November enjoy money can’t buy culinary experiences and the best the Margaret River region has to offer.


The hugely successful Queer Screen Film Fest is back again in Sydney – and it’s bigger than ever. Last weekend, Margaret River hosted its inaugural food and wine festival – The Margaret River Gourmet Escape.

This was a chance for people to have dinner or lunch cooked by one of the headlining chefs or even spend time with the local winemakers.
