The astonishing thing is that between the empty lots and Disneyland, there’s a collection of relatively new hotels that quietly sprung up when most of us were focused elsewhere. It’s a remarkable turn of events considering that less than two decades ago, many longtime county residents who lived outside the area considered it a bold and brave move to visit Little Saigon.
That identity is a stew and includes residents who have lived in the city since before the fall of Saigon in 1975 as well as the city’s more recent Korean immigrants.

On Wednesday, Garden Grove and more than 400 cities will lose their redevelopment agencies following a recent state Supreme Court ruling supporting a state law that sought to abolish the agencies. Officials say they have been working with the trailer park's low-income tenants for two years to find them a new home and offer them relocation packages. The development would include Great Wolf's signature ride, "Howlin' Tornado", which features a six-story drop "where riders get flushed through the structure and out of it." The water park would be for the exclusive use of hotel guests and only on rare occasions would day passes be issued for special events, a park spokesman told the City Council in 2010. City officials estimate that the city will get $8.5 million a year in bed tax, property and sales taxes once the hotel opens.
That number is based on a 66 percent occupancy rate, which is a conservative estimate for the Orange County resort area, said City Manager Matt Fertal.

They have separate areas for the big Kids and the little kids which was awesome because as we all know big kids can be rough and forget about the little ones around. They had a lazy river, wave pool, surfing station, basketball pool, and rope bridge besides the large water tower in the middle of the park. The kids can walk from pool to pool without being cold because the air temperature is also about 84 degrees.
No outside food or drinks allowed so either show up after a big meal or be prepared to pay the prices for the snacks.You can however bring snacks and drinks to your room just not into the park.
