Duane Morris & Selvam LLP Establishes Shipping Law Practice and Announces Four Key Appointments in Singapore
SINGAPORE, July 11, 2011 – Duane Morris & Selvam LLP (DMS)—the first U.S.–Singapore joint venture to be approved under the enhanced joint law venture model—announced four key appointments to enhance its operations in Singapore.
Shipping lawyers Raghunath Peter Doraisamy, Colin Jarraw and Prakash Nair have joined DMS partner constituent firm Selvam LLC as directors. Their arrival jump-starts DMS's new shipping and maritime practice, bolstering its existing corporate transactional capabilities in Singapore, Vietnam, across Asia and throughout the world.
DMS has also appointed Ramiro Rodriguez as a director. Rodriguez is a Colombian lawyer with more than eight years of experience in cross-border banking, corporate finance, securities and private equity law, both in common and civil law jurisdictions.
