Duane Morris & Selvam and Duane Morris Vietnam Present Japan Roundtable

On Wednesday, 27 January 2016, the Duane Morris & Selvam Singapore and the Duane Morris Vietnam offices co-hosted the Japan Roundtable event, a discussion of compliance, anti-corruption, employment law and other issues for Japanese companies doing business in Southeast Asia. Guests included executives from NTT Docomo, Kyocera, Hitachi, ASICS, Omron, NEC, Itochu, Daiwa Capital Markets and other Japanese multinational companies.

Eduardo Ramos-Gómez began the evening with welcoming remarks. Manfred Otto, from the Vietnam offices, introduced the guest speakers, Mr. Hiroaki Miyauchi of Iwaki Singapore Pte Ltd and Mr. Daisuke Kaihoh of YKK Holdings Asia Pte Ltd, and moderated the lively and engaging discussion. After the program, guests enjoyed an informal networking reception with a sake-tasting and delicious sushi.
