the last pesky iceberg finally melted today, thank God.
My parents made us get off the cruise ship last night so that we could see the locals
doing something other than just serve us food and drinks. It turned out they do
that here on the island, too. They are all very helpful and are good about not
holding eye-contact for too long. Dad was wrong, theyÕre not all lazy. It was really
scary, though, being a pretty blonde girl here (even though IÕm not really blonde)
because you get worried that everyone is going to kidnap you like that poor girl ...
whatever her name was, the blonde one... she was on the television again today
(we get Fox news on the boat) marking the 14 yr. anniversary of her disappearance.
It wasnÕt all bad news, though, the wars in Eastasia and Eurasia have been going well.
