Lots of changes since November, including a new PC-based home server running Windows 8, several new smart phones, new PCs and tablets, new cloud backup, Office 365 Home Premium and a nice doubling of my Internet speeds courtesy of Verizon FIOS.
I've been experimenting with Amazon's Cloud Player lately just to see if I'm up for subscribing, so I can upload all my ripped CD's there.
Problem is, whenever I try out their MP3 uploader, it only seems to catch about half of the songs from my rips - even though they're all MP3's, and they're all high quality, and all from discs I actually own.
One thought I had was that it might be happening because Amazon is improperly matching albums, so only some of the tracks align and get uploaded. That's a caffettiere (many different sizes, we even have a party size for 10 shots which I cant even remember being used) used often in past. Is the reason you run two servers just for the sake of being able to be knowledgeable about both setups?
Also, you seem to really like Bose, what makes you like those products so much when Bose is widely regarded as one of the biggest ripoffs in the audio world? I had set Firefox as my default browser for years, used it whenever I wasn't required to use Internet Explorer and resisted Chrome. Another weakness for me, is in getting the optimal resolution on the various screen sizes. The issue with the Zune HD is that's it's old fashioned: You need to tether it to the PC to do anything with it. If XBox Music provided the way to sync metadata-playcounts between devices, that would be 'old fashioned'. But the amount of cross-device interconnectivity in WP8 is a step back from even Zune and the client is still 'basic' at best.
At this point in time even the mess that is Android is as viable(or more) as WP8 from a functional point of view. I have bought the wireless charging stand (DT910) the car charger (DC-17) and the protective cover (CC-1043) for both phones and they are all of very high quality. I am not going to pre-empt but after 3 or 4 weeks with the 920 you are going to find it very hard to put down - even if it is bigger than most cell phones out there. Paul I don't know if you'll see this but for me as a long time TMobile user I'm goin YeeHaa.
The introduction of the microprocessor, a single chip with all the circuitry that formerly occupied large cabinets, led to the proliferation of personal computers after 1975.

I certainly have instances where it won't recognize some songs but the vast majority of my collection is there.
I'm not sure how one would circumvent this though, without a massive amount of manual track renaming in Amazon's Cloud Player (which, I'm sure you know, is awful). Those that care about sound quality would want Audioengine imho (their entire product line is gold). However, bookmark synching works very well in Chrome across my home & work computers and iPad while I could never get it to work in Firefox.
When I'm taking screen captures for the site I often just use PRINTSCREEN or WINKEY + PRINTSCREEN and then paste into Paint. There is a free version, and it works really well for ripping DVDs to ISOs, then I also use Handbrake.
We've a 6 year old 15" notebook at 900p like your Ultrabook and find the extra space 1080p on my usual notebook delivers is essential for my work (development) and desirable for writing (e.g. I want portable media to be 100 percent cloud based so I can get content on it anytime, from anywhere.
Which is why I sheepishly slunk back to the iPhone + iPad + Touch for my cross-device metadata syncing, as well as full cloud matching without the weird behavior of XBox Music.
The apps you get from Nokia are a standout and show that Nokia is committed to this platform in a big way. For computers generally referred to as PCs, see IBM Personal Computer and IBM PC compatible. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any remediation strategy that works, and I did experiment with editing the songs and so on. In the meantime, I will continue to use the free Cloud Player service, since it still has most of my music on it. I personally use the M-Audio AV 40s (would have got the Audioengine 5+ if I were starting over, but these are much pricier than what I have). I think at the time it was just a slightly better deal, or they had the new i7 more quickly or whatever. It stands out from a looks (screen and build) and performance (touch and camera) point of view. I also can't believe there isn't a proper Speed Dial for IE; that is what has been keeping me away. With the Lumia 1020 available on other platforms, do you see Sprint offerring a better windows phone any time soon?
Likewise I've a 4 year old 24" 1200p monitor which I choose over my much newer 24" 1080p, its a noticeable usability plus.
Here Transit is truly amazing and what can I say about Maps other than it has replaced my Garmin!

It features a 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5-3317U processor, a gorgeous 15-inch matte screen running at 1600 x 900, 8 GB of RAM, a 128 GB SSD, and a decent back-lit keyboard.
These include Surface with Windows 8 Pro (128 GB), Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T, and Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T, each of which is a compromise of some kind but generally recommended. This system was upgraded to 8 GB of RAM, and its single 320 GB hard drive has been augmented by six 3 TB HDDs (three internal, three external).
The Windows 8 home server is backed up to Carbonite, while the MicroServer is backed up to Crashplan. These include my favorite Windows Phone handset overall, the HTC Windows Phone 8X, a Nokia Lumia 820, a Nokia Lumia 620, and the Android-based Google Nexus 4. Each of these devices is recommended (the 8X and 820 highly so) except the Nexus 4, which has a surprisingly terrible camera. I use and recommend the bigger and more effective Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones.
Hearing is precious.) Camera Our digital camera is a Panasonic Lumix ZS20, a 14 megapixel point and shoot with 20X optical zoom, a 24mm wide-angle lens, and GPS. Our TV is a 46-inch flat screen Vizio LED LCD HDTV, which is actually excellent and was very inexpensive. Stay tuned.) Software and Services Like many people, I have stock collection of software that I install every time I reinstall Windows or get a new PC. I use and recommend Last Pass for online password management (it works in all major browsers). My entire family uses it, and its predecessor, Microsoft Security Essentials, and we've never had any major issues. When I rent or purchase TV shows or movies, I typically use Xbox Video Store, Amazon Instant Video, or just the On Demand feature in FIOS.
My need for this activity has dropped dramatically in recent months and I’ll likely remove this software from What I Use soon. I use Visual Studio 2012 Express for Windows Phone 8 and Visual Studio 2012 Express for Windows 8 to keep up on software development issues.
It's attached to a Samsung 24-inch LED LCD (1080p) and a second set of Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers. People who work in front of computers (or otherwise sit all day) need to do something energetic. We buy it locally at my favorite Italian specialty store, Tutto Italiano and brew it with a Lello 1375 Ariete Cafe Prestige espresso maker.
