The Apple iOS 5 version has a few awesome new features, one of them being the iCloud which would be a default feature removing all the necessity to use any backup apps of various services, most of which charge to have at least a decent amount of backup limit.
Once you click on Merge, the bookmarks would turn on and the syncing would automatically turn on. You can stop the iCloud backup at any time if you wish to have the backups happening to the computer rather than to the iCloud servers. You can choose to automatically sync and backup the apps, music, documents and any other related file systems in the iOS device to be backed up on timely basis or whenever it is connected to the iTunes through the USB connection. Welcome!Welcome to The World Wide Web Blog, a blog founded by Chetan Bhawani, on the day of Christmas in 2007. You should be able to move through the following instructions for backing up using iCloud in about five minutes.
You should back up apps that contain important information or files, as well as apps that you have taken a lot of time to customize.
Apps, books, music, and TV shows that have been subsequently removed from the App Store, iTunes Store, and iBookstore since you downloaded or purchased them. Learn More About Backing Up If you don't have a lot of time to learn much more about backing up, consider backing up only the files that are most important to you, such as photos or work files. I can think of several reasons why you wouldn’t want to back up the data of certain apps. Step 2: If you own several iOS devices linked to your Apple account, you will be presented with the backups for each of them. Note that apps are sorted by storage used, with the ones using the most storage at the top. The iCloud feature gives an option to either backup the data to either the computer through iTunes, or else to the Cloud server wirelessly. And from now, the bookmarks on your iPad would be syncing automatically with the iCloud bookmarks list.
Before you allow the location services, the Find my iPad or iPhone app feature would be turned off.

The iCloud automatically backs up the camera roll, the accounts and documents, the settings of the iOS device whenever the device is connected to the Wi-Fi. Selecting the option would then activate the automatic backup of the data to the computer whenever the iOS device is connected to the computer through the iTunes.

If you lose your device or buy a new one, it’s easy to restore the same information you had on your previous device. However, if you chose to skip that step, it is rather easy to set up the iPad to automatically back itself up to iCloud.
But before you take this step, it is a good idea to make sure your iPad is being backed up to the iCloud.
If you still have problems, you can move on to the next latest backup, repeating the process until (hopefully) the problem is cleared.Restoring from a backup can take some time.
These instructions were verified for iOS 7, but they are nearly identical to the instructions for iOS 6. At this stage, you can consider yourself finished with the backup if don't want to back up anything else on your phone. I personally wouldn't back up most apps that use a cloud service because all the app data you care about is already being hosted by the provider—not locally on your phone. Connect your iPhone or iPad to a Wi-Fi signal, plug it into a power source (like an outlet), and leave the screen locked (in other words, don't use the device). To do a very quick backup job with your PC or Mac, see Get Organized: Backup Your Most Important Data.
This can be pretty handy in case you restore your iPhone or iPad from a backup because you won’t have to set up all your apps preferences again.
As it turns out, it’s pretty simple to handpick what apps can or cannot be backed up in iCloud. Once you turn off backups for certain apps, you will be asked to confirm you indeed want to turn off backups and delete the data that is currently in iCloud.
Turning off backup for your photo library is an easy way to regain tons of iCloud storage space, but if you do so, remember to backup your photos somewhere else, be it on a different online storage service, or maybe locally on your computer.
If at all you had already entered your Apple ID, then it would show up there and would ask you whether you want to merge the bookmarks on the iPad with the iCloud. This will take you to a screen that will display the last time the iPad was backed up to iCloud.Once you verify the backup, you are ready to begin the process.

But what would happen to your files, photos, and everything else if your iOS device were lost, stolen, or severely damaged? Below the step-by-step instructions, you'll also find a quick overview of how to restore your device using iCloud, should you need to, as well as a list of things that do and do not get backed up using this method.
Under the heading Backup Options, you'll see a list of the top five storage-using apps, plus another button reading "Show All Apps." Press Show All Apps, and you can now choose which items you want to back up. Of course, if you want to back up more, you can pay Apple for extra storage space, starting at $20 a year for an additional 10GB.
Your iPhone or iPad will automatically backup once a day when it meets these three conditions. Enter passwords when prompted, and don't mess with your phone while that progress bar is still doing its thing. You will start by erasing all data and settings from the iPad, which puts it into a clean state. If you do want to back up more of your non-Apple apps, continue through the rest of the steps. By handpicking what apps can backup to iCloud, you have more control over how much storage space can be used, and if you are on the free 5GB plan, then every MB counts. You can do this by going to the iPad settings and choosing General from the left-side menu.
The restore screen should give you estimates at each stage of the restore process, starting with restoring the settings and then booting into the iPad. Tapping this button will perform an immediate backup, making sure you have at least one data point you can restore from later. This option appears after you have signed into your Wi-Fi network and chosen whether or not to use location services. Remember, if you have a lot of apps, it could take some time for the iPad to complete this step. In addition to downloading apps, the process restores photos and other data, so if it doesn't look like there is progress, the iPad could be working on downloading more than just apps.
