Here are nine reasons why Adobe Creative Cloud dominates the Creative Suite, and is worth every penny.
I’m no longer tied down to one computer with the Adobe software installed on it – I can take my apps with me wherever and to whatever device I want. No more USB drives or emailing files that are too big – Adobe makes it extremely easy to stay connected to my creative projects wherever I am. As a marketer, I don’t have time to create everything from scratch, so I rely on Creative Cloud Market to help me start or finish my projects.
If those aren’t enough reasons to embrace subscribing to CC, here are a few of my favorite recent updates to Creative Cloud that will never see the light of day in Creative Suite. As a photographer, sometimes I get a subject who can’t keep from squinting or who just doesn’t want to smile.

One of my favorite IFTTT recipes is backing up my favorite articles to any of the cloud storage services.
The IFTTT recipe takes the URL of an article saved with the Pocket bookmarking service – converts it into PDF and ‘downloads’ it to your Dropbox folder. Just to illustrate that a similar action can be performed with any other application with an open API, we have this IFTTT recipe that saves starred Google Reader feeds as a PDF into SkyDrive. You can also use similar recipes if you have a different bookmarking service…like Readability. Dropbox specific text editors are perfect fit for iPad and tablets when you want to create and share something on the go. Yaara covered 5 different ways to send files to your Dropbox even if the sender does not use Dropbox. Of course, this method is bit of a hit and a miss, but it gives you the second best chance to locate your laptop or mobile in case you don’t have any anti-theft application installed.
Excel Surveys was released on SkyDrive last year and by now it should have made it to most computers.
You can preview your survey when it is finished, and then you can share the survey with your family and friends.


You can also use a Google Form to do a similar survey and store the responses on Google Drive. Enter your mobile number to receive a free text message with the download link for the app. There was an article here at MUO about keeping a journal that sparked me onto using Google Drive and its Docs to write my memoir entries. Sure the telephone works to make phone calls, but your smart phone does so much more for you.

Tell us about your favorite IFTTT recipe that marries another web app with a cloud storage.
More specifically, it is defined as a simple text editor for your Dropbox data that helps you to concentrate on what you want to write and share your text via the cloud.
A simple workaround enables you to auto-save your Word documents to the Dropbox folder and have them synced online. Our judgement is in no way biased, and our recommendations are always based on the merits of the items. Sometimes I don’t know how I lived before I had Dropbox, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

In Photoshop alone, there are 29 new features not available in CS6, and the drop off increases moving back to CS3.

I know some of you might not be ready for Creative Cloud quite yet, just like it took some of us awhile to get that first smart phone (I was the last one in my family!), but it will be hard to stay relevant if you stick to Creative Suite.
As well as stalwarts Photoshop InDesign and After Effects you’re given access to Illustrator Premiere Pro and Acrobat X. CS6 and Lightroom 4) without the pain of shelling out big bucks for buying the boxed version and subsequent upgrades.

Just like any other kind of survey, you can collect information from your friends and family and use it as a decision making tool. I was even able to get the doc down to its bare minimum making it as distraction-free as possible. Plus it has more links to the ToS for the various cloud services which sounds interesting, dubious and essential to know.
Additionally, please follow all Local, State, Federal and International laws, technology related or not. It’s as easy as ‘Save as.’ Every Creative Cloud member gets 100GB of cloud storage, and having it sync with my programs saves me time.
I can even filter them to just see the ones I synced from Typekit (which is especially useful since it’s easy to forget the names of my new fonts – like Hucklebuck JF?).
For $200 a month an iStock account will only get you 50 images or illustrations each month. I can create as many libraries as I want and simply toggle between which one I need as I’m working. You need modern tools to meet the digital expectations of your audience on an array of channels and devices.
It’s something of a surprise then that Adobe has only just ventured forth into cloud computing.
These are the full unlimited versions of each piece of software and you can pick and choose which ones you download with the manager. You can use it to draft speeches, write notes, and why not even more wordy documents and keep them synced with the cloud. The simple tweak involves changing the auto-recover file location from the default to “Dropbox” in Word Options. So, if your computer or mobile is switched on and Dropbox starts up with it, the location can be traced back from the IP address.
The most recent activity displays the IP address and it can be presumed that is can be traced back to the source of the theft. When I’m done with a project, I can easily share it with my team by sending them a link to view and make comments as needed. There are lots of places to find free fonts on the web, but since Typekit is integrated with my Creative Cloud apps, it significantly cuts search time and helps me manage my new fonts. Outdated solutions won’t be able to keep up, and CC continues to stack the deck against CS6. In addition to the software Adobe includes 20GB of online file storage site hosting and PDF creation. That’s definitely not the end – Justin was at it again as he took his gaming to the cloud along with his BitTorrent downloads. Use the search box to search for any recipe tailor made for a specific cloud storage service. This enables your mobile devices (or any other with Dropbox installed) to be synced as well. I just wish it could be the same with Dropbox coz their storage is quite pricey but I've read so many good things that you can do with it and it's just a shame. As for Creative Suite, you might need to check out that iStock account since you don’t have access to Market.
It is a useful backup to have in case you hit a zone without internet and you have to go offline. And that’s why I think we will have to keep covering creative uses of cloud storage because it’s impossible to get them all in one go.
