White Wizard Games have made two announcements, the first being the launching of the Kickstarter campaign for their next deckbuilding game, Hero Realms, and a new expansion in production for Star Realms called Star Realms United. Next is the Star Realms United expansion, this expansion adds more cards to the game but brings something new, hybrid factions. The fan-favorite Cthulhu Realms is coming to mobile due to the fantastic work of the same people that brought Star Realms to the digital scene. Since Cthulhu Realms is mechanically very similar to Star Realms, which has seen impressive popularity on digital platforms, this newest game-to-application entry has a lot of experience behind it to be a worthwhile download. International Tabletop Day is tomorrow, and one of the great things about the day, beyond the scores of people playing games, is that there are some sweet Geek and Sundry themed promo items to be had. White Wizard Games launched the Epic Card Game last year with a half-million-dollar Kickstarter and nearly 12,000 backers. Epic was designed to provide a full trading card game style experience at a fraction of the cost. The one thing Epic was missing was high-end events to inspire players to build the best-possible constructed decks and to push their strategies in awesome limited formats like dark draft. Qualifiers for the Epic World Championship will be taking place throughout the year at major gaming conventions and large game stores. The Epic Card Game World Championship will be held in the Boston area (Framingham) on November 18-21, 2016. The 2015 International Gamers Award nominees for general strategy games released between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 have been announced. For more details on the nominated games, and on the nomination committee members please go to the International Gamers Awards website here. Dice Tower Con 2015 has come and gone and so we now look forward to Essen and the flood of games coming out then. Every year at the Origins Game Fair the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design presents the winners of the Origins Awards for that year.

Rob Dougherty and Darwin Kastle and White Wizard Games, the creators of Star Realms, are now bringing to you another Kickstarter for a small-box card game: Epic. Epic is a fantasy card game for 2-4 players that provides draft, sealed, and constructed play right out of the box. If you’re interested in a fantasy themed anti-trading card game, then check out the Kickstarter here for  more information. The winners of each category will be announced on June 26th, at the Dice Tower Convention in Orlando, Florida. Cthulhu Realms is a deck building competitive game where players use conjuring power as currency to buy new cards and play minions and locations in order to damage your opponents sanity. That experience, I expect, will come in the form of consistent patches and bug fixes, a very stable online environment, and a very challenging single-player experience you wouldn’t get from the physical version. This high-end play doesn’t just benefit the competitive tournament player, it also provides a wealth of internet content like cool deck lists that casual players can build and try at home or in a local casual event.
Players will have a chance to compete and win one of 64 coveted entries to the Epic World Championship in November 2016, where everyone will receive a cash prize and one person will win $25,000 and the title of World Champion! In draft and sealed play, players get to choose cards to go into their decks out of a selection of cards. A jury of more than fiftyy Dice Tower staff, prominent bloggers and reviewers went through all the games released in English in 2014, and chose the five best in each category – with ten games nominated for best game of the year.
Congratulations to all the publishers and designers who were nominated, and we hope that gamers will have a list of truly excellent games to seek out and play. These nominees are pulled from a pool of games that publishers and designers can submit eligible products to.
The tea cosy is a quick knit in two main pieces, front & back, which are then seamed along the sides, leaving gaps for the teapot handle and spout.

The last player remaining, or the player with the most sanity when the market deck is depleted is the winner. Additionally attendees of the Origins Game Fair are asked to vote for the Fan Favorite winner. If you have played trading card games like Magic: The Gathering, you may be familiar with this type of game. The ears are knit separately in contrasting yarn, so that they can be positioned, along with the button eyes & tail, to your liking to give your pug a unique character.
The upcoming mobile app is available now through Google Play and will be coming to iOS App store soon and will feature a slew of awesome content and multiplayer options for the paid version. Epic World Championship Qualifiers will start at SXSW Gaming in March, and continue with events at Origins Game Fair, Connection, GenCon, PAX Prime, Dragon Con, and more. But instead of being a trading card game, this game will be more like a Living Card Game (or Expandable Card Game) – you get all the cards in the box, and there are no random packs or rare cards.
Instead, you get 1 gold each turn, and you choose which card to play with that gold (all cards either cost 1 or none). Should your pug get dirty, the acrylic yarn is machine washable and dryable, although washing inside out on a delicate setting is recommended.
