In the last couple weeks, Google Drive and Amazon Cloud Drive have both released desktop versions of their online drives. Up to now, the most common application for online drives has been syncing music via services like iCloud, Amazon Cloud Player, and Google Play. While Amazon and Google have both offered some form of an online drive for the past year, their recent desktop versions make it easy to upload files to your cloud drive. I wanted to test it’s ability to detect file types, so I added some MP3 files to the Amazon Cloud icon. This site is meant to be a subjective but informative resource for customers shopping for mobile service, or even just people interested in the industry. You’ll find new technology, company news, Verizon Wireless press releases and more, from the expert (yet friendly!) representatives and staff at Cellular Sales, Authorized Verizon Wireless Retailer. And we must tell you that the thoughts shared on this website in no way reflect the opinions of either Cellular Sales or Verizon Wireless.
This month, I wanted to share some websites, apps, and tools that can help you work efficiently to further your ministry’s goals.
If you have a cool tool you’d like to share with us, drop us a line and we may feature it in the future.
You can choose which subscription lists are rolled up, so you still receive individual emails from important subscription services. Unroll.me is free and supports most email clients, including Outlook®, Gmail™, iCloud®, and Yahoo!® Mail.
Account Killer – If you no longer use a social media website, email address, or online forum, you may want to remove your account to protect your privacy.
Account Killer  is a free tool that provides direct links and instructions to remove your profile or account from many websites and online forums. ZenMate – With recent security breaches in the news, you may be worried about information security and privacy when working outside of the office. Instapaper – Instapaper lets you save articles, videos, and websites to access later and syncs with computers, tablets, or mobile devices. Todoist – Todoist is a to-do list application that lets you manage your tasks on 13 different platforms and devices, including Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac®, Gmail, and Windows®. Todoist lets you share tasks with family, friends, or coworkers, allowing collaboration between everyone in your church office.
Rescue Time – If you want to improve your productivity, RescueTime tracks time spent on applications and websites.
With RescueTime, you can block distracting websites, track how much time you spent on email, and set alerts.
Print What You Like – Recently when printing airline boarding passes, I noticed large ads printed on the bottom of the page and on the page after my boarding passes, wasting both printer ink and paper.
Fortunately, if you don’t like ads or want to print only text on a page, you can do that with Print What You Like.
Print What You Like is free and supports Firefox, Internet Explorer®, Chrome, Safari®, and Opera browsers. Cold Turkey – Do you have a hard time disconnecting from Facebook or Twitter™ while at work, but don’t want to block these websites completely since you use them as a part of ministry? Cold Turkey is a program that temporarily blocks social media distractions and addicting websites.

While Cold Turkey is open-source, you can choose to make a donation to charity when you download the program. Logitech Performance Mouse MX™ – This wireless mouse uses Darkfield Laser Sensors to let you work anywhere, including on glass desks. The mouse charges with an included Wall-to-USB adapter that lets you add additional compatible wireless devices and even use the mouse while it charges from the wall or computer.
Mophie Juice Pack Powerstation – Charging stations are popping up everywhere from shopping malls to airports, but what if you’re in a hurry, there’s no station around, and your device is dying?
The powerstation knows how much power your device needs to efficiently charge without overheating or damaging your device. Satechi iFit-1 Portable Rechargeable Speaker Stand for Smartphones – The iFit-1 is a compact speaker that lets you play music or podcasts from your Smartphone while browsing the internet or checking emails on your phone. About ACS TechnologiesFounded in 1978, ACS Technologies is the leading provider of information management solutions to nearly 50,000 churches, schools, and organizational offices.
ACS Technologies enables churches to manage groups, events, finances, donor relationships, volunteers, staff, child care, schedules, mailings, reporting, Web sites, growth strategies and more. Early today, along with iOS 9 and watchOS, Apple released an updated version of OS X to developers. Apple fans have come to expect these new flashy images on an annual basis and scramble to find copies.
The following image was extracted from the Apple website and optimized for desktop computers with a resolution of 2880 x 1800.
Finally, WWDC wallpapers were released this weekend as part of the Wallpapers of the Week series. The trend that Apple is going through with OS X right now is naming operating systems off of locations in California, which is where they are headquartered.
Okay, thanks for all the answers, I was a bit confused about the name, but it makes sense now. It still doesn’t work for me, I have the same problem as you have… when you say flashdrive you mean the one in the computer ? I labored for Verizon after and I was told that they don’t really generate income down clients until concerning the 6th month of their phone contract. These desktop applications make it easy to keep your music, videos, pictures, and documents available online via any device such as a computer, a smartphone, a tablet, a media player or even your television. With the explosion of tablets, smartphones, SSD laptops, more and more people want access to all their files anytime. We’ll give you an inside look at what phones we like, why we like them, and how to get the most out of your mobile service. Use Unroll.me to unsubscribe from any email lists you may not remember signing up for or are no longer interested in. Account Killer also ranks websites by color (white, grey, and black) based on the ease of account deletion. Instead of printing it, you can save that recipe your coworker sends you and access it that evening when making dinner.

Instapaper is free, but you can purchase a subscription that features full-text search and highlighting, and removes advertisements. You can also break tasks into sub tasks, use colors to denote priorities, and visualize your productivity with charts and graphs. You receive a weekly email report letting you know how much time you spent on your activities. You can add the plugin to your browser, create a printer-friendly version of your church’s website, or select snippets of websites to print. You can set the program to block sites during specific hours of the day, which is helpful if you want to check your church’s Facebook and twitter each morning and at lunch, but want to avoid temptation to stay on those sites all day.
Scrolling is fast, and the mouse also includes four programmable side buttons that you can use to jump between open windows or zoom in and out of pictures. This portable powerstation lets you quickly charge smartphones, tablets, and USB devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Kindles.
The powerstation is also small enough to fit in your purse or pocket, making it perfect for business trips or weekend getaways.
This device fills several needs, since you can also use it as an external speaker for your laptop or tablet.
With brands such as ACS™, PDS™, Membership Plus™, The City, Realm™, and HeadMaster™, ACS Technologies enables churches to manage every vital area of their ministry from finances to relationships, from events and groups to giving and serving. Thankfully, with a few connected and design-savvy friends, we strive to offer the images to everyone, regardless of having a developer account.
Now music, video, ebooks, documents, spreadsheets, powerpoint presentations, movies, and much more can be easily access via cloud services like Dropbox, Box, Amazon Cloud Drive and Google Drive. Currently, ZenMate supports Google Chrome™ and Opera™ browsers, but a Firefox® version is in the works. Or, if you receive a long email at work, you can send it to Instapaper to read that afternoon while waiting at an appointment or at lunch. Whether online, desktop, wireless, or mobile, the passion that drives ACS Technologies is maximizing technology's value for ministry. It’s just one part of Yosemite Valley, sort of like El Capitan is sort of an incremental update. It’s a simple process, but if you want to add multiple MP3 files, Amazon recommends you Launch Cloud Player. ACS Technologies is a privately held company headquartered in Florence, South Carolina, with offices in Phoenix, Arizona and Seattle, Washington.
It’s not an entirely new place to take the OS just like El Capitan is not a new place.
Once you install the drive, it immediately syncs all your online Google Docs to the sync folder on your computer. To sync a file, simply drag a file or folder to the Amazon Cloud icon, and it will instantly begin to sync the files.
