In compliance with Texas regulations, Seller will submit Vehicle Transfer Notification to Texas Department of Motor Vehicles within 30 days of completion of sale. In this case, the amount shown in #21(g) of the Motor Vehicle Tax Affidavit section truly is the amount of tax paid.
As a consequence, if the replacement rental vehicle is registered tax-free, claiming a fair market value deduction lowers the Minimum Tax Liability. A possession owner may recover up to the amount of the sales or use tax paid to the title owner. The Minimum Tax liability established for the vehicle is shown in the Sales and Use Tax Computation section of the Form 130U - #21(g). I, the undersigned seller, do sell the above-described vehicle to the buyer for the amount shown and certify that all of the information provided in this Bill of Sale is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
