As an HHA, you can have a choice to earn a living by either working for someone else, as an employee, or you can choose to work for yourself through self-employment. Of the various types of companies hiring for home health aides for jobs, home health care agencies hire the largest percentage of HHAs in the field of home care industry. In the beginning of your HHA career, it is probably best to start working with an agency or facility so that you will be sure to acquire the skills necessary to perform your job duties properly. Depending on the state in which you live, certain requirements must be met to work for a home health care agency.
When getting a home health aide job at an agency, you will be assigned to clients that the agency has located for care. Employment at an agency can also provide you with flexibility for your working hours – both full and part time. The agency will also take care of withholding taxes and send you an annual w-2 form for your income tax returns. A downside to working at an agency regards the rules that may be enforced when working with your clients.
To be self-employed, otherwise known as an independent contractor, as an HHA means that you are not associated with an agency or supervised by a medical professional. HHA’s who have a large amount of experience under their belt may prefer being self-employed. A main added responsibility is actually finding clients who you will work for and scheduling the days and time you will work. Rules and processes like these does not allow for HHAs to develop healthy relationships with their clients. A home health aide job working either for yourself or an agency has both upsides and downsides – it all depends on what you prefer. If you lose mobility at one joint because of a tight muscle or previous injury you’re increasing your risk for injury. Bend one knee and push your opposite heel into the ground – you should feel a good calf and hamstring stretch. Slowly bring your knees toward your chest, hold for ten seconds, then go back to starting position.
Try to increase the range of motion in the knee joint area, so the flexion in each leg goes from almost straight and extended to bent at a ninety degree angle. In less politically correct terms, these "Hot Shots" and "Alfa Workers" are generally referred to as "Assholes", but that's a story for another day. Because these animations take so long to play out, it may at first be hard to get the timing down right to chain one move into another, so be sure to experiment in a safe spot before you take the Great Sword out for Serious Business. Try X + A, A, then hold A: if you follow up this charge attack with the X button, you'll end the combo on one powerful strike.
Keep in mind, though, you can do this an additional two times, bringing the color of your sword from white to gold to red. But depending on what suits you best, these may or may not be issues for you to work for a home health care agency.
So if you’re running with one stiff ankle, your body will look for mobility elsewhere, in most cases, the knee. It is not necessary to take the leg straight up to ninety degrees, as the most difficult range of motion is the first two feet off the ground. And although this is a race where all are encouraged to  enter, this is actually a race for the "Hot Shots" and "Alpha Workers". Again, chaining attacks with the Great Sword can be tricky, so aim for launching your next attack just as the momentum from the previous one has ceased.
