Along with Sky Dive and Decline, this is one of the three prominent runs that loom above the base area. They are best accessed by means of the Reverse Traverse through Currie, but can also be reached by a high traverse through Easter Bowl from the Face Lift. Stag Leap is normally reached by skiing down Sky Dive for a bit and then following a short path on the right that is marked with a sign. Those with a bark fetish can just proceed straight down through the trees from the Reverse Traverse where it turns left to intersect the ridge. The bottom of Stag Leap runs directly into Silver Fox at the top of the Deer Chair.
All three are long serious bump runs that can light a fire in your thighs (at least in mine), and all three are interesting and challenging, so I don't have a particular favourite, although Sky Dive seems generally to be more popular with most people.
