This South facing bowl, just below the top of the White Pass chair, is rated blue on the trail map, but like many Fernie blues, it tends to be a rather dark shade. This is because it is rather steep for an intermediate run and can get rather mogulled, but it is wide open, with only a few trees on the upper skier's right and that terrain is definitely black in any event. The easiest access is to follow the trail just above the top of the chair around into the center of the bowl - about the middle of the picture below.
In the spring this area acts like a big solar reflector and can get some fair sized moguls
