This is one of my favorite places to ski. It is immediately accessible from the Boom chair, has a decent pitch, enough trees to provide lots of little interesting routes and usually opens quickly after a big dump. Early in the season some parts of Cedar Ridge have pretty major alder infestations, but as the season progresses these get covered and it is possible to ski just about anywhere on the ridge. Simply pick an enticing spot anywhere off of the left side of North Ridge and drop in. Tree and steeps skills will be necessary in many places though and this is not the place to be if things are hard and icy.
Cedar Ridge is pretty much the entire tree covered slope in the back ground.
Cedar Ridge with almost no tracks - it doesn't get much better.
