One of the features of our Nissan Titan that we have found to be unexpectedly useful is the Utili-track bed system. Awww, Nissan was smart in this feature, I had to tie down the fake carpet, love the tie down system in our trucks!!!! Too bad nissan dropped the ball and made a different bed for the Utili-track trucks than the non ones. However, it likes to run in a high gear, even when cruising at midrange speeds, to keep engine rpm low and save fuel. It's no more difficult to maneuver the Frontier in a parking garage than it is to pilot a traditional midsize sedan there. The V-6 Frontier I tested was an SE 4x4 trim, and it offers a high seating position that gives you a great view of the road ahead without requiring extra effort to climb into the cab, like some full-size trucks demand. As opposed to the conventional bench seat in the back of extended-cab full-size trucks, the Frontier King Cab has two tiny individual seats that flip down from the wall of the cab, like a stadium seat. He noted that when the tailgate is lowered it covers most of the rear bumper, which makes it harder to step down from the cargo bed. There's more capability to be had by stepping up to a full-size truck, but the larger size is a serious drawback in city driving. They wouldn't be very comfortable on a long drive, so if you plan on regularly ferrying passengers in the back of the Frontier, you should consider the four-door crew-cab model. It is a sliding rail system accomodating a variety of OEM and aftermarket accessories which can lock into the four lengthwise rails and one horizontal rail. Rather than having to stretch bungee cords to the far corners of the truck to tie something down, we can just slide the Titan's adjustable cleats to where we need them, lock them down, and have a secure tie down in minutes.
