Yordy Kolner who lives in the Netherlands always had a thing for Japanese sportscars, especially those used for drifting. His love for Japanese cars got kickstarted a while ago when he saw a video of several Toyota AE 86s drifting with mismatched wheels and all. Now he drives a 1996 four-door Honda Civic because prices for AE 86s gone a bit crazy in the Netherlands. In the meantime, Yordy’s passion lives through custom Japanese diecast models he buys an customizes. Diecast.aero is a Model aircraft database of non-flying models of existing or imaginary aircraft using diecast metal. This set, manufactured by Oxford Diecasts of the UK includes models of vans used in Malta through the fifties, sixties and also well into the 1970s, it includes a Bedford CA, Morris 1000 and Morris Mini Minor in 1:43 scale.
If there are any models anyone wants to see up close I will be glad to take individual pictures. Very nice collection, only just started with construction die-cast, have a ton of #3, #8 and #29 NASCAR cars.

Don't buy so much off ebay these days as some of those guys jump in way early and run the price way over what it ought to be. His passion is now pushing him make these ultra-cool custom diecast models which you can swear they’re real. At some point, Yordy managed to get his hands on a hachi-roku but due to personal issues he had to sell it.
Still he didn’t lost hope and is always looking over the Internet to see if an affordable one shows up for sale.
He says that every 1:18 scale care he buys gets customized, from just fitting a new set of wheels to a full respray, decals and modified parts. Flying designs range from simple glider aircraft, to accurate scale models, some of which can be very large; static display models range from tiny metal toys to large, accurate models for display by aircraft manufacturers and travel agencies. You can find mostly exotic sport cars with some examples of ''normal'' cars like old mini, Lancia Delta etc.

Nice shelfs, but i would consider getting inclosed glass shelfs easier to dust.Find some old antique show cases like they use to have in the candy stores.
I've bought some off ebay, some from DHS or Buffalo Road Imports and some from other on-line sites. DHS has a nice page devoted to buyers and sellers of models, there are some good bargains there -- sometimes. I have one model builder building me a custom Link-belt 210 long boom excavator in 1:50 scale! I currently have several kits to put together when I've nothing better to do, one is a rare plastic Michigan scraper that I bought from some guy in Switzerland.
