Homemade wood lathe duplicator using an angle grinder, free outdoor porch swing plans - With Secrets

The angle grinder mount is independent and can be used separately as a 1HP, high RPM variable speed grinder, though extreme case must be taken to keep soft bits clear of the disc. I would plasma cut to reduce grinding, then rough out (wear errs on under not over cutting).

A table tool rest would be a simple addition to the basic grinder stand and would allow me to hog out on the regular disc at high speed and do fine inside profiling with a 1mm slitting disc at low speed.
A three or four axis horizontal mill would be fairly simple to make by comparison to the duplicator, using my cheap cross-slide vice.
