We were once at a concert sitting side by side, somebody was playing I don’t remember what, and I was just thinking horrible thoughts and she whispered to her side ‘stop it.’  She just knew I was thinking so hard.  So you put that over distance of about nine and a half feet between two pianists facing each other on two pianos and she knows what I’m thinking, I know what she’s thinking.”
