CLIP TRANSCRIPT "I figure I'm going to be for the rest of my life, trying to figure out how to compose. Every time I face that blank page, there's a real serious moment of panic, I think, 'I can't remember how to do this!' Even though I've probably written 120, 130 works, it still can be a very intimidating thing. So, I actually find it probably just as mysterious as other people do as well. Sometimes at the end of a day of composing, I look at it and I just cannot figure out, where did this music come from? It's kind of odd." SUGGESTED HOST OUTRO A day in the life of a composer – in this case, Jennifer Higdon. Here's one of those works that began with a blank page – and maybe a little panic. This is Higdon's (insert music title and performers). For more information, visit our website; www.virtuosovoices.org
