"Vivaldi himself wrote, you know, he describes, I guess, sort of the town drunk and all the peasants going into slumber after drinking, you know.  He describes that through the music so beautifully and it should make you smile.  There's a lot of humor and actually, the harpsichord player really brought out a lot of that humor.  He did some really nice improvisations and I was very proud of this collaboration."

Autumn is the third of the four violin concertos that make up Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.  It's also the most rustic and "spirited" of the group.  From Joshua Bell's most recent recording, he's along-side the English Chamber Orchestra for "Autumn" from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi.
