On August
28th, 1963, 250,000 people gathered in Washington D.C. for the March for Jobs
and Freedom. Forty years have passed, and for some, the memories of the event
remain vivid. But not everyone sees the events and lessons of that day the same
way. In the fifth of a five-part radio series from
WGBH Radio Boston, independent producer Phillip Martin looks back at the march
through the eyes of those who were there.
