Pregnancy and fertility tarot card combos

Before I start listing the pregnancy and fertility card combinations, I want to make it abundantly clear that you should never use the cards in place of a medical health care professional, nor do I recommend using the cards as a pregnancy test.
My reason for creating this list of tarot card combination interpretations is to help you get to know the cards better. Do have fun experimenting with these interpretations by picking out the cards used (as you will see, many of them are repeated) and see if you can come up with other meaningful combinations that relate to pregnancy and fertility. If you are looking for a Pregnancy Tarot Spread which covers all three trimesters, as well as conception, birth and sex of the baby, you will find one HERE. Hahaha, that’s like walking into the best cafe in town and asking one of the customers if they have another cafe to recommend.
Hi Jessica, The High Priestess is associated with feminine health and the reproductive system thanks to the lunar correspondence but not with conception, pregnancy and birth – the card for the latter would be the Empress (Venus). As for my personal opininion… do follow your intuitive guidance and do whatever works for you.
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and my first reading one week ago was ace of coins, ace of cups, and wheel of fortune reversed, I thought this was a positive reading, this week I received the star reversed, the empress, and justice reversed and I am unsure what to make of it. Also this reading was not asking if I am pregnant but if pregnancy was in our foreseeable future as the doctors are thinking my chances of becoming pregnant are low.
I can assure you that you won’t get much joy from the cards that way since detachment from the outcome is necessary in order to accurately read the cards.

Naturally, birth and pregnancies do show up in readings – as do miscarriages and abortions.
Always make it clear that your reading is not an alternative to pregnancy tests or proper medical check-ups. Personally, I associate The Empress, the Queen of Cups, and the Ace of Cups with fertility and pregnancy. Could you please answer the following question: I asked what my potential was of getting pregnant next year (this year is not going to work out) and got the Sun!
However, I prefer listening to my own inner voice and intuition instead of following in someone else’s footsteps. The first draw was the correct one… never second-guess and do another draw soon after the original draw!
Temperance contains both Fire (masculine) and Water (feminine)… This is a rainbow child.
She is dressed in virginal white and seated IN FRONT OF of the pomegranates, showing that she is not embodying the mystery of conception but is in charge of the wisdom connected with it. It is one thing to read intuitively and get different aspects of the deep rich symbology of the arcana surface at different times and another completely to make up your mind to permanently view The Emperor as Capricorn. It doesn’t necessarily mean they will be gay or transgender but they will have deep empathy for those who are because they have already transcended the gender paradigm due to being an old and wise soul.

The High Priestess is associated with fertility (pomegranates and palms in the background are symbols of fertility) and the card is ruled by Moon which represents menstrual cycles, fertility and pregnancy – even in astrology. The Empress, on the other hand, is WEARING the pomegranates, and as you know, is often depicted as pregnant. An archetype is an organising principle which, expressed through the Emperor gives us cardinal energy of Fire expressed through the number 4, Chesed and Heh, the fifth path of the Three of Life. So yes, the High Priestess can show things like the onset or ending of a woman’s fertile phase, as well as problems with the feminine reproductive system or painful periods etc… but usually not pregnancy, in my experience. The structure itself is not manmade – it is Divine Law and without it, we cannot do magick.
Waite would giggle and remind you that the imagery in his own deck and all its clones is based on the GD system of correspondences.
