These same two teams were at it again the very next night but this time Orlando was the host and Atlanta was the visitor. The Hawks looked to keep their winning ways going in their next contest when the team hosted the Denver Nuggets in Atlanta. The very next night the Hawks were back at it again in Atlanta playing host to the Charlotte Hornets.

Atlanta scored 57 points in the first half while holding the Nuggets to just 36 points in the first half as the Hawks opened up a deficit that Denver could not overcome. The difference in the contest came on the free throw line as Atlanta knocked down six more free throws than the Wizards as the Hawks went on to beat Washington by the score of 106-102.
