I’ll be the first to admit I was confused when brushless motors made their way into the tool realm. Milwaukee’s M12 and M18 FUEL cordless tools have longer run time, longer motor life and improved efficiency, according to the manufacturer. If you thought it wasn’t possible for Milwaukee to improve on their venerable workhorse, think again. The improved motor and Red Lithium Battery technology give Milwaukee’s line of cordless grinders increased power, efficiency and run time. I’m anxious to see if the new motor will extend the run time of the M18 Li-ion batteries, as that has been my only (and very minor) concern about my current M18 circ saw. Overall, I think that everyone at Milwaukee’s event was impressed with the FUEL line of tools. Charlie R { Conductive hook and loop tape was used extensively in the Space Shuttle program for temporarily installed protective covers on the SRB booster segments.
Chris { Rumor has it harbor freight was forced to discontinue the machine for patent issues. An oxy-acetylene torch may be helpful for getting through big bits like the suspension crossmembers, but for the other small stuff like pillars and body panels, this would be my torch of choice:Can't you just gut it and then haul the whole thing away on a trailer? I used a huge angle grinder one day for about 15-20 minutes back when I went to FSAE regularly to grind part of the old frame down. A grinder with a cutoff wheel is faster than any sawzall, though you'd need a sawzall to complete some deep cuts.

I think the fact that nearly every tool company chose to brand theirs differently contributed. Brushless has once again made it the king of the hill when it comes to runtime and performance.
The brushless tech is certainly making big differences in what we’ll expect our cordless tools to do in the future.

Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. Also, if you prefer a cordless form factor, they’re offering a ‘Hatchet’ as part of their 18V line for about $250.
Before I get on the scale I'll remove all but two lug nuts on each wheel, loosen the last two, then take the wheels off when I drop it. If you're going to stick with the sawzall then you'll definitely need more amperage than the one you tried. Import charges previously quoted are subject to change if you increase you maximum bid amount. That bad boy is nothing short of amazing to me, and it has plenty of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins just waiting for me to test out in the upcoming months.
With the increased efficiency of brushless technology, these tools can now safely be called cordless grinders and live up to that moniker, according to Milwaukee.

In staight-out mode you can grip it like one of those ever-popular straight-handled Japanese hand saws, or you can pivot it all the way down and grip it like a drill driver. My car was totaled in an accident back in January and the insurance is giving it back to me, plus paying out for it. Now granted, I'm a weak guy, but i could barely lift them for the rest of the day and they were sore for a few days. From what we saw during the demonstrations, it looks like there might be a new sheriff in town. It would just jam and make a high pitched screech noise. Is the Milwaukee Sawzall the real deal?
I know I've seen videos on youtube of cars getting cut in half in under 5 minutes, but the HF one is barely putting a dent in it (well, it made some scratches, I'll give it that much credit )Holy fawking shit yes. I see some kits on ebay going around $100 (Victor and Harris style?) I don't know much about the different options for torch kits. Made quick work of an old (dual) exhaust system from the Benz, reduced it to little 3' chunks in about five minutes.
Don't forget I'm the guy who chastizes people for leaving their nice car in the garage and driving their crapmobile every day.WA1DH wrote:Hey which blade stroke is better?
All returns need to have a note included with the buyers information and reason for return or exchange. I understand there is some sort of pressure test recertification that needs to be done every so often, but do tanks expire or just get recertified? Thanks.
Do you like to push it hard, or do you prefer to wait while it does its job?I'd probably go for the shorter stroke. It would be a minor disadvantage sometimes, but the longer stroke is more likely to bash against stuff on the other side of what you're cutting, bending the end of the blade and making cutting difficult.
