Front and rear park-assist sensors are available, now enhanced with available side parking sensors designed to guide a driver into a perpendicular parking space. They're part of an Enhanced Active Park Assist system that can steer the Edge into a parallel parking space while the driver operates the foot pedals.The new Edge is also the first Ford model to get new adaptive steering technology similar to what BMW has offered in its products for nearly a decade.
