This National Recognised Course is suitable for childcare educators and meets CPR, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis requirements.
While there are no pre-requisites for this course, you will need to have sufficient English language skills to complete the competency based first aid training.
You will also be required to undertake practical training and assessments at floor level which includes demonstrating CPR on a manikin for two minutes.

Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian. You must attend 100% of this First Aid training course and satisfactorily complete all the competency based assessment tasks.

Multiple choice questions, short written answers and practical activities are used for the assessment in this training course. While first aid certificates are generally renewed every 3 years the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and workplaces codes of practice recommend any CPR refresher training should be undertaken yearly. Our comprehensive student management system will send you a reminder message a month before your CPR and First Aid certificate is due to be renewed. Onsite training is available at NO EXTRA cost in a number of formats to suit your busy schedule: after hours, weekends including Sundays, etc. Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting (HLTAID004) is a special course specifically designed for parents, people working in the childcare and early childhood learning industry or anyone like teachers, who work with kids.
