Receiving frank assessments about ourselves from others is often not easy and can be an emotional experience. Although Aspergers is at the milder end of the autism spectrum, the challenges parents face when disciplining a teenager with Aspergers are more difficult than they would be with an average teen. If you’re the parent of a child with Aspergers or High-Functioning Autism, you know it can be a struggle from time to time.
In continued efforts to expand on the Cancer Core Competency Initiative, C-Change awarded grants to four sites to develop competency-based pain and palliative care programs. There are a lot of good points on information in that book if you want to be a successful leader.


As the child feels worse about himself and becomes more anxious and depressed – he performs worse, socially and intellectually. The programs were developed and implemented based upon the pain and palliative care competency standards to improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes among non-oncology health professionals.
