Update: New Jersey Continuation subsidies under ARRA
As you may be aware, the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA), which was signed into law by President Barack Obama, included a COBRA premium subsidy of 65 percent. This means that eligible individuals will pay only 35 percent of their COBRA premiums. The premium subsidy is available to individuals who were involuntarily terminated from their jobs between September 1, 2008 and December 31, 2009.
