A firm has invented Freewriter , a Wi-Fi connected portable 'smart typewriter' that only has an E-link screen and keys -- making it almost impossible for you to get distracted. The device was first introduced in 2014 under the name 'Hemingwrite' on Kickstarter where it received $342,471 from 1,096 pledges. This keyboard was designed with a 'special type of switch' called Cherry MX Brows, which are made to last 50 million key presses. But Freewrite's battery will last between three to four weeks with normal usage, which the firm says is 30 minutes of writing per day a€“ with Wi-Fi turned off.
I went to only one day of MomoCon this year (Saturday) and it was disappointing compared to years' past. I also saw what I think was the very first Saint Seiya cosplay I've ever seen at an Atlanta convention. The way some objects or enemies can or can't be affected by time combined with your control of time, either by "standard" controller manipulation or by walking to the left (rewind) or right (forward) can be mind-boggling when all you want to do is just grab a key and carry it to unlock a door. Speaking of stars, one star I think is just ridiculous to get is the star in World 2-2 "The Cloud Bridge." You have to sit and wait on top of a door for about 1 hour and 45 minutes for a cloud to arrive which you can then jump on and then wait another 15 minutes for it to take you to a wall which you jump over to find the hidden star. Considering their age, the machines seem to have been fixed up and well maintained because they look and work great. Some other pinball machines I saw included Haunted House, Xenon (some futuristic, sci-fi, alien-looking game), Evel Knievel, and the Incredible Hulk, and older, simpler games like Circus, Base Hit (baseball), and Hercules. I also noticed a storage area where it looks like they have other games which are out of rotation.
To me, these machines are works of art and I'm glad APM is preserving these games, allowing old generations to relive fond memories and new generations to enjoy and appreciate these classics for the first time. Our team of escape room enthusiasts (Team Bad Math) took on The Escapery for the first time on April 26, 2016.
We were told by Mark, the owner, that they plan to open their second room, called Silo, in August. If you've never done an escape room before, here's the jist: You and your friends pay to be locked in a room filled with clues. I've reviewed all of them, so if you're curious about each one, you can check out my list on Yelp here.
Like other escape room companies, there are cameras inside the game room so the staff can monitor your progress and give you hints when needed.
Breakout Atlanta opened its second location ITP (inside the perimeter) in Buckhead in March 2016. If you're not familiar with escape games, here's how it works: You pay money to be locked in a room with other people.
The story with Hostage goes like this: You and your friends are on a plane that gets hijacked.
The beginning of The Kidnapping is like Hostage because you and your friends start off in the room blindfolded and handcuffed together.
Note: At the time of writing this review, Hostage is exclusive to the Buckhead location and Island Escape is exclusive to the Peachtree Corners location. As for differences between the Buckhead and Peachtree Corners locations, I think the Buckhead location is nicer.
I will say one thing I found that was annoying at the Buckhead location was the soundproofing between the Hostage and Kidnapping rooms. Breakout normally costs $27 per person per room, but we've always purchased Groupon deals for this business which is another big reason why we kept coming back. Today is the first day of spring in 2016 and I've decided to stick a fork in The Evil Within. Ultimate Escape Game Atlanta is like many other room escape games in metro Atlanta - it's a lot of fun. At the time of writing this review, I've played 15 different rooms at 8 different businesses in the Atlanta area. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above escape rooms except for Mystery Room which, in hindsight, I no longer recommend due to the overall quality of the experience there compared to other places. Room Escape Atlanta, host of the popular "Trapped in a Room with a Zombie," uses cheap, low-quality props.
Note: If your group doesn't book all the spots in a room completely, there's a chance you'll be teamed up with another group and you'll have to tackle the same room together. It would be nice if the rooms had difficulty ratings so newbies and veterans are better informed before booking a room.
Finally, I've noticed Ultimate Escape Game Atlanta has the nicest, most spacious waiting room and well-lit photo backdrop of any escape room business I've been to yet. Who I want to win Oscars: Spotlight, Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant), Sylvester Stallone (Creed), Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn), Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl). In my opinion, Inside Out is Pixar's best film since 2009's Up and it will probably win Best Animated Feature at the 2016 Academy Awards. Nominated for four Oscars this year including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Writing, Room really isn't a fun or easy movie to watch. The amazing cast (Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling) is the draw of this movie. Everest is based on the true story of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster which I knew nothing about heading into the film. Highly recommended by my sister, I can't say I enjoyed this movie as much as she did, but in the end it was a funny and entertaining romcom. Nominated for 6 Oscars including Best Actress (Cate Blanchett) and Best Supporting Actress (Rooney Mara). Much better than The Heat (2013) which also starred Melissa McCarthy and was directed by Paul Feig (who also directed Bridesmaids). Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston got an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his role in this movie where he portrays a real-life movie writer, Dalton Trumbo. The Fast and the Furious movies are always a good time -- big budget action flicks with fancy cars, attractive women, international settings, and an eclectic ensemble cast of likeable stars. As a big fan of the first two Terminator movies and thus the franchise in general, I was sort of letdown by Genisys. Watching the trailer for this movie immediately reminded me of Short Circuit, but the movies are nothing alike except for humans having a cute experimental robot friend who faces adversity along the way.
For a prequel that did not include the stars of the first two films (Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne), Insidious 3 surprisingly exceeded my expectations. The Walk is a biopic about Philippe Petit, who (illegally) set up and executed a high-wire walk between the Twin Towers in New York. A fun and entertaining blockbuster, but Michael Crichton probably rolled over in his grave when this movie was released.
I didn't know about the existence of this short film until listening to an interview with its director, Joseph Kahn, who's directed music videos for just about every big name in the music industry. Since its a package deal, we also found that schools are synonymous with TEACHERS - The 'elders' at school who could see through us however tough we wrinkled our little faces, as clean as a beam of light through clear water. Of course, I still enjoy multi-course, multi-cuisine lunches with friends and I do submit assignments, albeit hurriedly done in the last moment.
Now let me ask you, have you ever questioned yourself why you went to a school in the first place?
That’s because a school is where all the above mentioned ingredients came together and after mixing them carefully, in all the right proportions, for over 10 years, we, the next generation, were created. 6Paraphrasing Worksheets 4th Grade As Well As Cell Structure Worksheets Printable In Addition Social Bookmarking Sites As Well As Free 4th Grade Reading Worksheets Along With 4 Grade English Worksheets Together With Paraphrase Ex Les Of Paraphrasing Furthermore Persuasive Essay Writing Rubric Moreover Parative Adjectives Further Finish The Story Worksheets In Addition Text Structure Worksheets Middle School As Well As Paraphrasing Worksheets Furthermore 4th Grade Social Studies Worksheets Also Paraphrasing Sentences Worksheets Together With Reading Prehension Worksheets Page 10 Education.

Though they were not required for any of the trophies, I still went ahead and collected all 8 stars.
It took me quite a while to get the timing of a few jumps down in World 4-7 as well as understanding when to walk which way and how fast to rewind or fast-forward.
When you first enter, you'll be in the pinball room where there are (I'm guesstimating) about 30 pinball machines.
The Hercules machine was funny looking because it was significantly larger than a standard-sized pinball machine.
This is cool because you get to see all the wires, switches, gears, and other parts that make the scoreboard work, in action. Perhaps they're fixing them up, selling them, or just don't have space to display them yet. I say "first time" because we plan to return later this year and try their second room after it opens.
Working against the clock (timers are typically set to 60 minutes), your group must follow the trail of clues, solving riddles and puzzles along the way, to find the key to unlock the door and escape the room. At the time of writing this review, I've played 21 different rooms at 11 different locations (9 different businesses) throughout the Atlanta area.
The list is generally sorted from my most favorite escape room company to my least favorite, but let me be clear - I think all of them, except for perhaps Mystery Room, are a blast. I feel as though MGS2 has the highest cutscene-to-gameplay ratio of the other MGS games I've played. However, I remembered that I received an email from PlayStation Network on March 1, 2016 with a redemption code for Super Stardust HD as part of the Sony Gaming Networks and Customer Data Security Breach Litigation settlement.
I remember I was contemplating Super Stardust as well, but I chose the games which I thought would take me longer to play. My friends and I ("Team Bad Math") already completed all 4 rooms at the other location in Peachtree Corners: The Kidnapping, The Museum Heist, Island Escape, and Casino Royale. It's one of the more "cerebral" rooms where a lot of thinking is involved, especially towards the end.
Art has been stolen from a museum and you must break into the perpetrator's home, retrieve stolen artwork, and return it to the museum before it opens.
It took our team 54:40 to discover clues left behind by a missing secret agent, track down the bad guys responsible for his disappearance, and escape the casino. After completing Hostage, Jake, the owner, allowed us to check out the other rooms since we had already completed them. I need to get over my obsessive compulsive tendencies in trying to collect so many trophies for every game I play.
This time I'm playing the HD Edition to complete all the games in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
If you've never played a room escape game before, here's how it works: You and a group of friends pay money to be locked in a room full of clues.
The other places are fairly equal in terms of production quality with Paranoia Quest perhaps winning in that category.
I haven't seen any deals online for Ultimate Escape Game Atlanta, but I haven't looked either. I also have a newfound appreciation for Hyuna after watching this video and the choreography version. If you're interested in other K-pop videos I like, check out my KPOP 2016 playlist on YouTube.
Superb acting (Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro) with interesting characters and fantastic cinematography (the night scenes especially).
It's neat the same director (George Miller) was able to helm all four films in this franchise.
The first Mission: Impossible movie came out 20 years ago (!) and Tom Cruise doesn't look like he's aged much over the past two decades.

I couldn't help but spoil the movie for myself by reading an early version of the script that was leaked as part of the Sony hack in 2014. I didn't know what I was in for when I pressed play and was blown away by the over-the-top ridiculousness.
This movie is original, creative, and clever -- a lot of things big budget movies are lacking these days.
It's well directed and well acted with an epic story and absolutely gorgeous cinematography. I'm not sure I would personally rate it that high, but it is a nice change of pace from big budget, mainstream, Hollywood studio horror.
Not based on any real-life event in particular, it's a story about a mother and son who, after several years in captivity, finally break free. I enjoyed the original Avengers film from 2012 more, but only because the novelty of the Avengers' assembly was new.
I was surprised by and enjoyed all the cameo appearances, which I won't ruin here, but I don't think it's a secret that LeBron James is in the movie. As a 007 fan, I couldn't help but notice what I think were cues and nods to Bond movies, particularly the more lighthearted and humorous Roger Moore era films.
I know my parents, who are retirees, would probably like this movie because of Robert De Niro, who plays a 70-year-old "senior intern" working for Anne Hathaway's character. Like other Oscar-nominated movies this year (Bridge of Spies, Brooklyn), Trumbo takes place in America mostly during the 1950s when anti-communist sentiment was high.
It had the potential to be so much better, but Rise of the Machines and Salvation should have clued me in, even with Arnold Schwarzenegger coming back 12 years after Rise. I thoroughly enjoyed the original, was pleased with the second installment, and am a fan of Leigh Whannell, the writer behind this and the original Saw movies.
I was already familiar with his story from watching Man on Wire (2008) years ago (2009 Best Documentary Oscar winner). A mindless comedy with plenty of pop culture references and current music also featuring T.I. There, it would be a 5 minute ritual to cling to mummy and try blackmailing her to not leave her precious tot alone for those never-ending two hours. A sister who had money to buy you something from the canteen or a big brother who’d rough up anyone who bullied you. Why take the trouble of going through rigorous discipline where everything new you learnt had already been discovered by someone else? One among them was the way songs are written, recorded and sung in the mainstream Bollywood. Invaluable i'm officially, accepted last fellowship employment once you've written documents if the neighborhood bully and support myself first i'm bumping the keys for compensation.. Buried Bostonians Get Red Sox Tickets for Clearing Hydrants Just dont jump Putins Staying Put for Now Ukrainian BMW 7 Series Review: This Car Will Solve Your Personal Image Crisis The best of Bloomberg Business delivered daily Carly Fiorina Times Presidential Announcement With Start of Book Tour. This Digital Spy article with quotes from the game's creator, Jonathan Blow, was an interesting read. The visuals and music are beautiful and the gameplay and puzzle mechanics are ingenious, unlike anything I've ever seen before. The folks at APM even had a campy advertisement for Hercules out front, like the machine was some sort of circus freak.
I'm actually somewhat familiar with the inner workings of a pinball machine because my parents have one in their basement and we (the kids) grew up playing it. I believe most of these arcade games are from the 70s and 80s including some tabletop games.
Like several of these escape room businesses, The Escapery is located inside a nondescript office park.
I think it's a lot of fun because you're put into a real-life, dramatic, movie-like situation. The businesses include Room Escape Atlanta (Tucker and Edgewood), Mystery Room (Sugarloaf Mills), Paranoia Quest (Downtown), Mission: Escape (Loring Heights), Amazing Escape Room (Sandy Springs), Escape the Room (Downtown), Breakout (Peachtree Corners and Buckhead), Ultimate Escape Game (Galleria 75), and The Escapery (Marietta).
The vintage radio in the lobby and the art deco-style graphics designed for each room remind me of the video game series BioShock. The graphics are missing from the email because the images no longer exist on Sony's web server. In two sittings in a span of about 24 hours (two evenings), I beat Super Stardust and collected 10 of 12 base game trophies for an A rank on PSNProfiles. We came to this new location in Buckhead because it has one room Peachtree Corners doesn't: Hostage.
We set the record for Island Escape in Peachtree Corners with a time of 35:43 on February 24, 2016. To date, I've played 19 different escape room games in metro Atlanta and I would say Breakout and Mission: Escape are my top two favorites.
What I liked about this room compared to most other escape rooms is you're on a tropical "island" and you have to escape it on a boat before a volcano erupts.
I love James Bond, but I'm not a fan of casino and card games, which this room makes use of. The rooms in Buckhead for The Kidnapping, The Museum Heist, and Casino Royale are slightly nicer and more spacious than their counterparts in Peachtree Corners.
The amount of time I have to play video games these days is about as limited as ever, so I need to spend less time per game if I want to be able to experience more games. Some of the other places like Room Escape Atlanta, Mystery Room, Paranoia Quest, Amazing Escape Room Sandy Springs, and Breakout Atlanta have offered terrific deals online through Groupon, LivingSocial, and Goldstar. Then, each year before the Oscars, I post my rankings of the movies I saw over the previous year. Fans of the original trilogy have to watch The Force Awakens just to see Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, et al. I watched the first three Mad Max films roughly a decade ago and wasn't a huge fan of them. I love the character of Rocky Balboa and it was interesting to see him take on a different role, that of trainer and not boxer.
Approaching 80 years old, I think it's great he's still directing good movies and with regularity too. It's long (about 3 hours) and expectedly dialogue-driven, but the storytelling is great and the mysterious plot will keep you wondering just what the hell is going on. Kung Fury is a 31-minute action-comedy that pays homage to 1980s action flicks (and cartoons).
Great acting and chemistry, a haunting soundtrack, and I was a big fan of the film's beautiful, lonely, and often times claustrophobic setting. Bridge of Spies opens in Brooklyn in the 1950s, based on a true (and very different type of) story.
He's perfect for the role of Ant-Man and, like all movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this one is entertaining and a lot of fun. The scenes, shot using only natural lighting, were filmed in remote locations in sub-zero temperatures.
Considering this was a big budget Hollywood movie, it was interesting to see how the 2008 financial crisis and the causes behind it were dumbed down for the moviegoing crowd. The comedy is dark and funny, the action sequences are surprisingly well choreographed and nicely done, and I was entertained for virtually all of the movie's runtime. I was too young when the group was active (1986-1991) to be able to listen to or understand their music. It was also neat to see one of my friends in the movie (he is one of the trampoline dunkers).
I'm not a fan of Anne Hathaway nor did I like Anders Holm, who plays her husband, but the lady can act and her chemistry with De Niro is terrific.
Long story short, because of his political affiliations, Trumbo and other Hollywood writers were put on a blacklist and even eventually thrown in jail. Some of the scenes are unbelievable and the set pieces ridiculous, particularly the sequence involving three skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi.
Jai Courtney (Kyle Reese) is as bland an action actor as they come (See: A Good Day to Die Hard) and while there was a lot of action, there weren't any memorable sequences. It's got an ensemble cast that includes Johnny Depp, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Kevin Bacon, Adam Scott, and Peter Sarsgaard. I wouldn't put this in the top tier of Studio Ghibli films, but the studio has very high standards and this movie is still quite good with a dramatic, emotional story and absolutely colorful, crisp, and beautiful hand-drawn animation. I think it would have been nice to get more backstory on The Further and the evil spirits within, but overall, this movie sufficed in a year that is severely lacking in decent horror movies.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt portrays Petit in this movie, which is an entertaining, dramatized version of the story.
It delves deep into Jobs' relationships with certain people in his life -- his marketing lead, former Apple CEO John Sculley, his first child, Steve Wozniak, and some others.
It's a parody -- dark and mature, which is what makes it funny -- and, unlike 99% of fan films out there, is professionally produced and well done. It's cute, funny, and entertaining, but the characters and story lack nowhere near the depth and meaning (or "lesson") that the Despicable Me movies and popular Pixar and DreamWorks Animations movies have. The smell of freshly covered notebooks and the sound of chalk crackling on the wooden blackboard as we stood, nervous 5 year old students. And with this latter thing came the realisation that everyone is equally likely to get punished for being mischievous in school, how much ever of a mummy’s baby they were at home.
These were the people who were our benchmates; with whom we shared jokes in the class, sitting in the last bench, or rushed through notes before a test or cheered for the House matches and competitions or played pranks on fellow classmates. Still, we wouldn’t ever trade the memories we have had within the gates of primary school. As I mentioned in my last blog post, the ability to manipulate time and the game's various mechanics are original and creative.
The ability to manipulate time adds a whole new dimension and, quite frankly, confuses the hell out of me on some levels.
Admission is $13 per person ($10 for kids age 10 and under) for unlimited pinball and old school video arcade games.
They have some really old pinball machines from the 1940s and 1950s that are for display only. I'm talking games like Pac-Man, Centipede, Donkey Kong, and Pole Position, though they do have more modern games too like X-Men vs.
There's a bar serving beer and soft drinks and a nifty little sitting area up front with a coffee table fashioned out of an old Space Station pinball machine playfield. Destiny is set in the year 1952 and your team's objective is to recover the Spear of Destiny, a coveted artifact.
It's not a chain like Amazing Escape Room (Sandy Springs) or Breakout (Peachtree Corners, Buckhead) for example.
He even came up with reasons, that fit into the story, for why we could only ask for three hints during the game. There would be some sessions where I'd sit down to play and it would feel like I only "played" 15 minutes while another 45 minutes was spent watching cutscenes.
You have 60 minutes to unlock your handcuffs, uncover the details behind the hijacking, and escape.
Everything about this movie - the writing, directing, storytelling, acting - was excellent.
The movie is one terrific, well-choreographed, edge-of-your-seat, action set piece after another. Spectre is different from the previous Bond films in the Daniel Craig era because it's a return to the traditional campy Bond formula. The only reason I decided to watch Brooklyn was to see why it was nominated for 3 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Actress (Saoirse Ronan). The son was born in captivity, so he experiences the outside world for the first time at age 5.
The movie also has Jason Clarke and Keira Knightley (and Sam Worthington, whom I am not a fan of). The only member I've been familiar with is Ice Cube because of his work in movies and with Conan. Jason Statham puts in an unexpected hilarious performance and Rose Byrne continues to make a fan out of me.

As far as the story goes, I like the twist they threw in at the beginning, but then I felt the Terminator timeline just spiraled out of control into a confusing, complicated, and convoluted mess. The film addresses serious subjects that most other family animations dare not touch and it has those whimsical, magical elements Ghibli films are known for.
As with any Seth MacFarlane production, expect a smorgasbord of pop culture references and crude, offensive, and sophomoric humor. Lots of intense moments, but I actually think Kutcher's movie is more broadly entertaining.
That said, if you're a fan of the Minions, this one is certainly worth watching just for some laughs.
Unlike the more stressed kids of today, I’m guessing you directly went to Kindergarten, not pre-nursery or pre-pre-nursery. Would she risk being left all alone in this big bad world without her tiny superman or powerpuff girl? And EXAMINATIONS - those things that haunted us and, much to our distaste, revealed what we didn't want to know -- like a litmus paper going red. I remember it all; as sweetly as sugar, with a nostalgia that feels like the comforting breeze of spring.

I'm not a huge fan of puzzle games, which this essentially is, and I've needed help from walkthroughs and guides to grab some of the puzzle pieces. If I recall correctly, Mark and his wife Haley are the owners and they built this place from the ground up. My right thumb got so worn out during the game (you use the right stick to fire) that I had to take breaks to let my thumb recover. I love Sly Stallone (and Rocky Balboa) and want to see him finally take home an acting Oscar. Movies I couldn't help but think of before watching this one were Interstellar, Moon, Castaway, and Gravity. Fantastic special effects (blending both CG and practical effects), really clever writing, and a fun cast that has excellent chemistry.
It's interesting because the franchise looked like it was going in a different, more mature, "realistic," and gritty direction after the Casino Royale reboot. On the outside, it's a simple story about a girl who moves and misses what she left behind.
It's directed by Steven Spielberg and stars Tom Hanks, a combination that is almost guaranteed to produce an enjoyable movie. There were out-of-the-blue cameos by a variety of celebrities who attempted to explain complicated financial concepts. It was interesting to see how these artists rose from nothing to something as well as the various dynamics of the group. The final act is the most interesting part since it not only contains the walk, but also the setup of the wires between the two towers. Even the day I welcomed my brother to the youngest class, myself already being a so-called senior in 8th standard.
The book also includes information on how to connect reading, writing, and test prep. This book is for you. This is definitely an indie hipster game and, even though it's not what I'm used to or normally enjoy, I'm glad I decided to purchase, download, and play it. This is where the "museum" part comes in because these machines have little placards and info sheets with historical data (e.g. Mark quit his job as a civil engineer to enter the escape room business and he's the game designer. I like that the lobby is nice and bright, perfect for team photos, which is essential for any escape room business. I'm somewhat surprised it took me less time the second time around because I remember skipping all the cutscenes when I played the PS2 version.
I'll try not to go so fast this time and I probably can't since I'm going for a lot of trophies. These games are fun because they put you in dramatic, movie-like situations where you and your team must work against the clock to save the day.
I thought the puzzle-solving design was unbalanced -- the most unbalanced multi-room escape room I've played up to this point.
I thought Alicia Vikander gave the strongest performance among the Best Supporting Actress nominees. There are several top 10 worthy films that fell short simply because there were many top tier films released in ‘15 (e.g. The action sequences and set pieces are impressive, exhilarating, and exhausting (when they're over).
Sylvester Stallone wrote and directed all six Rocky movies (except for part 5, which he wrote, but did not direct).
All in all, I liked Rogue Nation a lot and think it is one of the best action films of 2015. The movie was funded by Kickstarter donations and even features an original song performed by David Hasselhoff.
However, the movie explores what's going on inside - her emotions, memories, and thoughts - and the way they're represented is really neat. The special effects were nicely done and there was a lot of interesting, thought-provoking dialogue.
Saoirse Ronan, who was only 19 years old when filming began, did a phenomenal job playing a young Irish woman who is basically torn between two worlds: her old home in Ireland and her new home in Brooklyn. It must've been challenging to find a balance between explaining the technical details of the meltdown and keeping the flick entertaining. There are some slow parts, but overall, this is a solid, well-acted flick that'll have you reading about the real events on Wikipedia afterwards.
The rest of the cast (Jessie Eisenberg, Connie Britton, Topher Grace) did a terrific job too.
The young cast reminded me of The Hunger Games, but this movie is rated R, which also makes me question why there wasn't more blood in certain scenes. And even though this is ultimately a fun movie, it does have its non-cheesy parts, brushing on serious issues people face in real life. There were a couple scenes I think where it was obvious Walker wasn't around for filming because only split-second shots of his face were shown.
I did enjoy the nods to the past Terminator movies in this one including some scenes at the beginning which looked shot-for-shot like the originals.
Some of it looked cool such as [*SPOILER ALERT*] the destruction of the Hoover Dam and a tsunami taking out the Golden Gate Bridge.
From PT in the grounds during summer [which took up almost 60% of our school time, a luxury which was taken away as we progressed to highschool], it shifted to  lying on the carpet in the classrooms and telling exciting stories to the teacher during monsoon.
If you've never played Braid before, I do recommend it if you're looking to try something different and non-traditional. I tried to take my time with the PS3 remaster and watched all the cutscenes, sometimes more than once.
Admittedly, the main reason I'm playing this game is because I don't like seeing the big, fat, red F on my PSNProfile for this game (simply because I installed it to see what its HD remaster looked like). We spent about 30 minutes solving the first tiny room and then only 15 minutes solving the next two bigger rooms. Finally, I think George Miller deserves the Oscar for Best Director because Mad Max: Fury Road was simply exhilarating. Abrams did a great job extending and expanding upon existing characters' stories while introducing some terrific new ones as well.
Creed was written and directed by a new guy, Ryan Coogler, and I think it is amazing he was able to convince Sylvester Stallone to do this movie. Despite dire circumstances, Matt Damon's character maintains an optimistic attitude and the film itself has a sense of humor with a fun retro soundtrack to boot.
As far as the Craig films go, I think Casino Royale is still the best and Spectre is not far behind Skyfall. I personally loved the references to the Nintendo Power Glove and the cartoon MASK (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand). Her performance is convincing enough to have you (or at least me) sympathize with her character and her struggles.
I'm not a fan of romances and thought a few scenes were overly dramatic, though the real critics disagree. It had its interesting moments, but also had boring scenes that made it feel a bit long and drawn out. The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis with score composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Contact). The dinosaurs looked terrific, but there were several scenes where it was painfully obvious the actors weren't actually around or looking at the (computer-generated) dinosaurs next to them.
Waterbottles dangling around the neck as we hopped along to school, gingerly holding the hand of our darling caretaker.
A successful college application essay always has a very strong personal statement or in other word a reason why the student should be taken as the only candidate for whatever he is applying for.. Even after watching all the cutscenes and watching YouTube videos that attempted to explain the plot, I still feel like I have no idea what the heck is going on in the Metal Gear storyline (and I'm sure Hideo Kojima designed it that way).
However, I decided repeating the rest of the game, even with upgrades, isn't worth it for me. Links to each of my annual rankings over the last seven years can be found at the end of this post.
It's amazing that John Williams was able to score this movie at age 82, though his classic old themes are still what stand out to me.
Spotlight is worthy of all the praise and accolades it's received, which includes six Oscar nominations. I'm happy he's still making movies and as long as he keeps making them, I'll keep watching them. At least in the original Jurassic Park, they used realistic-looking animatronic dinosaurs for close encounters.
There were a couple of computers we had to use and a GameCube console with a working game that turned out to be a red herring. Coogler did a great job, especially with the first fight sequence which appeared to be shot in one Birdman-esque take. Predictably, Hanks stole the show and I'm a little surprised he didn't get an Oscar nomination.
I get most of the major plot points, but I do think the franchise gets convoluted and bogged down in unnecessary details and intricacies. There are emotional scenes that near rival that of "I am your father" from The Empire Strikes Back. Like Die Another Day, Spectre has a lot of Easter eggs or homages to past Bond films, and it starts right at the very beginning. I was convinced since we were in a cyber-themed escape room and we had to use computers in the first and third rooms that the GameCube game, located in the second room, must've had a clue in it.
Bridge of Spies was Spielberg and Hank's fourth collaboration (Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can, The Terminal), but first without John Williams -- he was probably too busy composing for The Force Awakens. It didn't take me long to find a six-digit numerical code by exploring the game's pause menu.
Part of me loved it (I won't go into any here to avoid spoiling anything), but part of me also wished the series would continue down the harder path it started.
I did feel the story was a bit sloppy, especially with how the writers presumably tried to retcon and tie the plots of all four Craig films together. In that case, I think "Do Not Touch" stickers placed on the controllers would've been appropriate.
If you're looking for a well directed action movie with a zany cast of characters, this is it.
