I always enjoy making these which I have named the BAK Hammer Fist. For those that may not know, this was the design that really pushed me to start up Bad Attitude Knots and is the design I use for my own logo. Ever since I watched Kevin Gagne’s youtube videos two years ago on how to make self defense paracord items I was hooked. It has been some time since I have been able to work on any paracord projects, however I am excited as spring and summer means more time to work on custom projects for people.  We will be overhauling the site this summer and will also launch a store to sell custom made projects as well as other BAK gear.
Thinking back to last December when I started getting into the whole paracord hobby I never realized how much I would actually be sucked into this and the amount of hours of my life it would start to consume. I came up with the design following the basic design construction from Kevin Gagne design’s that used a Monkey Fist and threw my own spin on it.
This is a monkey fist that covers a 1 inch steel bearing and has some decent weight and I no longer miss place my keys is just a bonus. What started out with just learning how to make basic cobra knot bracelets for Christmas presents turn into a full obsession.
