Synopsis:
This is a rarely seen and underrated Peter Sellers gem. It's D Day, June 1944. A group of slave workers drafted in by the Nazis to help construct their coastal defences in France run for their lives as the bombing begins and end up trapped in a bunker where they find huge stores of food but not enough candles, as the light begins to fade so do their hopes of ever being found alive.
