Η Νίκη είναι η κινητή απόδειξη της γκαντεμιάς. Όχι, δεν γεννήθηκε έτσι. Ήταν το παιδί θαύμα. Είχε το "Χάρισμα", προς μεγάλη χαρά του πατέρα της Φανούρη και της παρέας του, που ζούσαν από τον τζόγο. Τι ήταν το Χάρισμα; Ένα λούτρινο παπαγαλάκι και γούρι της Νίκης, όταν ήταν μικρή.
Μέχρι τη μέρα που της το έκλεψε, ένας παιδικός της φίλος. Από εκείνη την ημέρα, τόσο τη Νίκη, όσο και τον πατέρα της, μόνο τυχερούς δεν τους λες. Χρεοκοπία και φυλακή για τον τζογαδόρο μπαμπά και μια σειρά από ατυχή γεγονότα να τους συμβαίνουν διαρκώς.
Και φτάνουμε στο σήμερα, όπου η Νίκη εργάζεται σε ένα life style περιοδικό. Όταν η εκδότρια του περιοδικού, της ζητήσει να πάρει συνέντευξη από έναν πρωταθλητή του πόκερ, η τύχη της φαίνεται να αλλάζει.
Πολύ σύντομα, η Νίκη θα συνειδητοποιήσει ότι ο πρωταθλητής του Poker, Αδιάβροχος, ένας τύπος που ζει από το «άθλημα» του Poker είναι ένας... παλιός της γνωστός. Και επιπλέον, έχει και κάτι που της ανήκει.
Θα ξεκινήσει τότε μεταξύ τους, μια ιδιόμορφη σχέση, κάτι σαν παρτίδα Poker. Ένα δυνατό παιχνίδι στρατηγικής. Μπλοφάρουν, ποντάρουν, ρεφάρουν, τζογάρουν και παίζουν... τα ρέστα τους στο τελικό τραπέζι του ελληνικού τουρνουά Poker, στην απόλυτη μονομαχία των δύο φύλων!
