Remake de la película "Gin gwai " que fue publicada en occidente como The Eye.
Una joven violinista ciega tiene la oportunidad de recuperar la vista que perdió en su niñez. El proceso consiste en el transplante casi milagroso de la córnea de una persona muerta que le devolvería la visión de forma periódica. Mientras se adapta a su vista recien recuperada un mundo de siluetas y colores empieza a tomar forma, sin embargo parece acarrear un grave problema, junto a la vista la protagonista adquiere un nuevo "don" que casi la lleva a la locura. Puede ver a los muertos y estos pueden advertir que son observados. Tan escalofriantes visiones parecen seguir un patrón que deberá resolver para conocer el motivo por el cual puede ver a los difuntos.
