Das Projekt "HEROS" nach dem Theaterstück „Heros" von Björn Steiert bringt in einer Rückblende die Innenwelt des Attentäters von John Lennon auf die Bühne. Der Mörder, ein „Niemand", möchte „Jemand" sein, er möchte durch den Mord an seinem Idol dessen Ruhm und dessen Anerkennung für sich. Die Perspektive des Mörders öffnet den Blick für die Abgründe einer „Leidenschaft" zwischen Zerstörung und Verehrung, Grössenwahn und Selbstzerfleischung. Die Inszenierung von Dominique Lüdi und Michael Buseke demaskiert die Geltungssucht des Attentäters und bringt die gesellschaftliche politische Relevanz der Tat ans Licht. Mit seinem Mordgedanken an John Lennon stellt der Niemand letztlich die Träume einer ganzen Generation in Frage und bringt deren Ideale ins Wanken. Der Niemand fordert uns alle dazu auf Gründe zu finden, die Identifikationsfigur Lennon am Leben zu lassen.
