About 900 members of the Canadian Armed Forces are completing the largest winter training exercise of its kind ever held across the Far North of Ontario.

The week-long exercise – called Exercise Trillium Response 2016 – is supported by the Royal Canadian Air Force which is transporting troops and equipment as well as conducting aerial surveillance.
Most of the troops have never been as far north before and many grew up in urban communities.
In Sachigo Lake the Rangers welcomed the troops into their community with a traditional meal on their first night.
One day of the exercise was set aside for the troops to interact with their host communities. When we were shopping in Parry Sound, she asked if she could have a plaque - it read -"Sometimes to see a rainbow you have to go through the rain".

Thanks to you and your staff for making Libby's summer all that it could be and recognizing the terrific person that is inside of her. I can honestly and sincerely say that my experiences at Camp Kodiak helped me to become the person I am today. Her goal for the summer was that she have one friend at the end of the summer to ride the bus to Toronto with. To top it off - our phone has been ringing daily with another call from another camp friend.
