Salcombea€™s first development of new properties right on the watera€™s edge for almost twenty years.
Whilst visiting Cardiff for the weekend, you’ll want to stay somewhere pretty close to the city centre.  Cardiff has numerous hotels within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, pub and clubs and more importantly, some of these hotels are brilliantly cheap so you don’t need to burn a hole in your wallet! Bunk House is a funky hostel located in the very heart of the city centre on St Mary Street.  From just ?11 a night, you can’t go wrong – especially with a buffet breakfast thrown in to the equation!
The Big Sleep Hotel is situated just opposite the Motorpoint Arena.  Rooms are from ?29 a night and feature flat screen TV’s and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities . Situated on Churchill Way is the Premiere Inn.  The hotel offers rooms from just ?29 and provides incredibly comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms and a restaurant – why not dine here before you hit the town?!
The Ibis is a fairly basic hotel located on Churchill way – perfect choice of accommodation for a night out in Cardiff!  From ?42 a night, you can have a clean and comfortable room; breakfast served from 4am right up until midday. The Royal Hotel  provides city center views, free wifi and complimentary toiletries from ?38 a night for a single room or a double for ?45 a night. The Travelodge located on St Mary Street is situated above Walkabout, a lively Australian themed bar!
The following exercise, ‘Problem Solving’, is a fun activity that requires a lot of teamwork! This sounds pretty easy but you will be surprised at how many times you will almost put down that rope!  Work as a team to untie the many overhand knots in the rope – your hands may slide along the rope but you must not put it down! Think of the knots as multiple problems, you must solve these problems (untie them) whilst also encountering other problems such as frustrated team members along the way – spatial problems can often cause frustration so it is important to communicate and co-operate with your team.

This Adventure Cook Kit is great for weekend campers with a full activity schedule wanting to stop off for a quick meal without worrying about having to scrape their pots and pans. Be assured, your time with us will give you plenty of special moments that you will treasure forever. Our girls had a blast, it was absolutely worth every penny to see them in the great outdoors learning some new tricks and getting back to basics. Gary, Nicola and Bob are all nice people who have a real love and in depth experience of wild plants, bushcraft and outdoor living and a passion for sharing that with others.

My son and I attended a Family Bushcraft weekend as a bit of father and son bonding time and in preparation for some wild camping we have planned for next year and we scored on both points. Lovely people, lovely and safe environment, lovely food (I especially loved the Ramsons) and great teaching. Highly recommend Jack Raven Bushcraft to anybody looking to educate themselves in all aspects of Bushcraft.
It's not always easy satisfying children where food is concerned but that certainly wasn't the case this weekend as the food was great. We can't wait to try out our Hazel bows again and we all love our uber cool paracord bracelets. All in all spot on weekend.May 31, 2015 by Dan Loft on Jack Raven Bushcraftfamily bushcraft experienceYet another course completed, yet another course thoroughly enjoyed.
